One last question are you fine with legendaries

So first recommendation that isn’t a legendary is lucario. While it’s defensive stats are lower around the board it has a higher speed and is steel/bug. The best pairing for bug type as your only weakness is 4x to Fire type.

You’ll also have a bunch of resistances to make up for the lower defensive stats.

If you want something slower but tankier. Volcarona/Steelix is a good choice. The same typing applies.

Volcarona/Metagross would be extremely hard hitting with great defense. But it gives up on the resistances the steel/bug type provides.

Pair it with flame body and you’ll discourage physical attacking as well.
