As for the bigger Pyukumuku/Corsola, it's a resized edit of the original sprite, the Lopunny/Gardevoir is custom to combine both sprites, the Nidoqueen/Charizard is recolored, the Aegislash/Metagross has eyes, the Aegislash/Lopunny is edited, and the Giratina/Garchomp is customized

Note that this is different from the competitively best types. In terms of sheer number of resistances and weaknesses, Grass sucks, but it has resistances to very common Water and Ground types and provides an immunity to Powder moves, which is invaluable in competitive.

Similarly, Ground/Rock is the best offensive typing mathematically, but it has so many weaknesses to common attacking types and all of the Rock/Ground mons in the mainline games are really slow and defensive, not offensive whatsoever.

If there was a fast and strong physical Ground/Rock type with Earthquake/Headlong Rush and Stone Edge, you'd have a solid offensive monster, but Pokemon won't give us anything like that so all of them are slow and die in 1 hit despite their bulk. The type is designed to be a glass cannon, not slow and defensive. Pokémon still can't get that right with Ice-types either.

Fire/Rock isn't far behind at the 19th best offensive type combo. Only Coalossal has that type so far, but if you had a fast Rock/Fire type with good offenses it would be great too as a glass cannon.

The fastest Rock/Ground type with Rock Polish is Onix, which has 45 base attack and 30 Sp. Attack.

Rock Polish doesn't fix the core issue. In a vacuum yes it should help, but it doesn't because the game around it is so much more complicated and so many other mons get way more options.

The best Rock-types are all fast, offensive ones, and none of them are Rock/Ground.

Kabutops, Omastar, Aerodactyl & its mega, Mega Diancie, etc.
