Pretty much all fusions are gonna have a lower BST than at least one of their fused mons. The stats taken become averages.

A couple exceptions though.

Like if the stats are really close distributions you can end up with higher stats overall than both fused mons.

That's one example.

But it's because the stats in that case are so far apart the averages come out to something greater than the two induvidually.
