The best way to farm exp is through trainer rematches. You can talk to a trainer again and get the option to rebattle them. The more you battle them, the higher the level they become and their Pokémon can evolve as well.

Number of Rematches:

• After 4 rematches, the head Pokémon will evolve regardless of badges.
• After 9 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, the head and body Pokémon will evolve.
• After 19 rematches and gaining 3 or more badges, it will evolve again.
• After 29 rematches and gaining 6 or more badges, it will evolve again if not maxed already.

Btw you do still have to evolve what you NG+ over and battling RNG to get them on randomizer is a lot slower so finish your rando then NG+ it over to like. A classic or remix. If you're missing any legends you can do a legendary mode save (But I don't think boots are obtainable in Legend mode, but it gives you an egg for every legendary)

The way I finish a Dex is to just stick into 6 Pokémon to grind (usually a starter and a mankey on early game) so I don't waste too much time on grinding. That way money is saved on pokemballs than wasted on other fusions and grinding. Sell every rock smash item for any scraps.

After you get some of the box art legendaries, it's fine to refuse your team just to have firepower, specifically johto section.

For roaming legends, I prefer to fuse wobuffet with someone like porygon for shadow tag, recover stall

• Rock smash farming [Ruins of Alph best spot]
• Payday + amulet coin
• E4 Rebattling
• Rebattling the last trainer in rock tunnel or swimmer east of Knot Island (only these 2 rebattles give money)
• Fishing Contest in Vermillion (Every win after the first gives 4k and you can reuse the same Magikarp)
