I get that you dislike the Galar Starters because they're somewhat Manmade, but just think of the possibility. You could create Overwhelmingly Powerful yet New Pokemon if you combine them properly. Imagine what you could do if you were to infuse the DNA of a Scream Tail into an Igglybuff Egg, or Flutter Mane DNA into a Misdreavus Egg. You could see the potential of how Flutter Mane and Scream Tail would gradually evolve and adapt to learn the process of how Mismagius and Wigglytuff came to be!

And you could gradually do that for all the Paradox Pokemon under the proper conditions

There is one fatal error in your argument. This pursuit would benefit us in recreating the past, but it would risk valuable resources and data, as well as potentially harm the developing Egg. It would make more sense to have them repopulate naturally and let Evolution take its course. Additionally, all resurrected fossils are to a degree man-made, but in Galar, they deliberately take two separate fossils instead of seeking to find the proper pieces for one, actively impeding the studies of the original Pokémon these split-fossils stem from.

What Resources would it risk exactly? You can pull from the Time Machine infinitely, and so you could have as many Subjects to pull DNA from as you'd want.

Additionally, researchers not only take risks all the time in the pursuit of science, and not only recreate the past all the time via manmade Fossil Ressurection, but they also wouldn't care about potentially wasting or harming weak things like Pokemon Eggs if it meant they'd get their work done. So answer me, Sada: if your goal is to research and recreate the past, but you want to avoid harming anything or anyone in order to achieve your "evil" goals, then why are you essentially refusing and betraying said goals like that?

Unless you're meaning to tell me that you're fine going against Rainbow Rocket to prevent anything and anyone from being harmed, your own argument has dozens of holes in it that you can barely even refute.

Great concept, but grammatically I think the mining concept could be all in sentence one with the infighting being the second (for example):

Switched "can be found" to "are found" for conciseness. Switched "mine" to "harvest" for word diversity. Spiced up the end, but that's more personal preference than grammar. And add an "s" to the end of POKENAME (flock of bird VS flock of birds).

I try to see what the sprite inspires in me. Then I check the official entries to see if there's anything there that connects well. Then I write, revise, and sometimes just sit with it for a bit!

It's tricky going, that's for sure. If I may offer some suggestions, at least for coming up with ideas, here are a few that guided me, for what it's worth.

-Look at the Pokedex entries for the two halves, and see if there's a way to combine the gimmicks. Not always applicable given how niche some of the dex entries are, but it's the basic start.

-Related to the above, think of the Pokemon and the order of fusions and see if that helps determine a kind of personality for it. A Pikachu head and a Meowth body? Then maybe it's a Meowth that acts akin to a Pikachu. Meowth head, Pikachu body? A Pikachu that acts akin to a Meowth.

-As stated above, appearances of the sprite can do a lot of work if you let your mind wander to something that feels appropriate to the sprite's theme, without necessarily dipping into the minutia of the fusion's parts.

-For flavor, think of different avenues you could take. Is it wild behaviors? Legends/rumors about the Pokemon in society/history? How it might help out in the modern day or how people perceive it or react to it? And so on.

A Pokémon can certainly come about through artificial means. I mean, the DNA Splicers are basically artificial, right? And they can be designed, although remember they are living beings. But I think the first version is find.

I like the way you fleshed out the physical with the practical, the idea feels a lot more concrete now. However, you should change "it will stun" to "it stuns" to keep a present tense. Also in the first sentence, you could smooth out the description of the trunk. Try saying something like "its trunk rising with its level of anger"

Fossils are cool Pokémon. There were a LOT of Fossil books in that cave. Like 65% Fossil books, 10% Cryptid Books, 25% Parenting books, especially with a focus in single or long-distance parenting.
