Then you had Emerald acting as an updated rerelease that adds what they learned with FRLG and applies it to Ruby and Sapphire.

Want an update?

QA going very well, at this rate its more nitpicky things and minor bugs. We also want to make something for the release, so that's the next step. Other than that due to how this all played out, there were some timing hiccups with the sprite pack, so sprite managers are getting help to sort from other staff, since that needs to be completed first. There are more technical reasons for this that I would be more than happy to explain, but tdlr: I couldn't wait any longer to hold the pack off since I was calculating that it would have been released sooner (the delay was worth it with all the extra stuff we added!), and releasing the game while it was in its usual sorting phase would have caused a soft pack release. This would have contained issues, and would have not contained the credits for those new sprites since it wouldn't have been ready until the end of the month. I didn't want my team overrun with reports like "OMG MY SPRITE IS IN GAME BUT NOT CREDITED TO ME, WHAT HAPPENED????????? " So yeah, lots of stuff happening in the background, but the actual game is more or less ready outside of the minor bugs

Usually pack sorting takes a couple weeks at the earliest, so staff is working hard to make it ready a lot sooner

kinda crazy since they said if they do not do content updates till the full game releases that it is well going to be a 2028 release or later

and the demo only goes up to slateport

since the timeframe given by them is-
Demo: soon after starting in April of 2025 this goes up to Slateport.
After release they are going to slow down progress significantly, which means to get 3 more towns/content for them, its going to be a year and half to 2 years. and then for the final bit maybe a 2028 winter release
