Oh yeah, I've definitely plan on fixing that sudden end to ectuteak ||most of the maps are nearly finished only the physical maps, they're still empty of people. Unless you count a colony of shuckle||. Im also playing through the game naturally as well, and have been making suggestions as I go. I dont want to be spoiled on the puzzles and it'll be a while until I get there, but we'll see! I do want to add more quests since we cant really add story

This is where the Nancy/Yancy quest end with (unlimited Date and Pokemon trading after certain amount of call), but I would take a step further from here with the friendship point.

After reached maxed friendship point, we will receive a special call from them which they will asked us to meet in perhaps.... slateport city or lilycove city?

Where we will walk along side with them on the beach of slateport city (or lilycove city), listen to their word about their feeling towards us (Confession) and end the special date with a cutscene of the character kiss protagonist.

After the special date the friendship point will be locked at max and we can call them anytime in the game except their working hours (Some more type of call is unlocked after the special date) and they would refer as us their partner.

animatd sprites used to be a thing, but it was one of the things that made the game super laggy at times so the dev cut them

(laggy to the point of crashing your game i should say)

There's a 999 map limit in RPGMaker, so they're limited in the number of areas they can make.

There are some workarounds they could do to significantly compress the amount of maps being used, but it would be an overhaul similar in scale to building a new engine from scratch.

I think at most the current method of using RPGMaker would only really support 2 regions at most.

Can I suggest a stat increase in that case, from fusing two of the same? The xp boost is great, but with Megas being out of the question, I'd love potential form variants based on self fusion. Apparently, in the past, self fusions would get the typing from their Mega, and I think that would be the best way to handle it. Make it a toggle for only the self fusions, requiring the Mega Stone or "Mega Splicers" to do it in the first place. It would also be a great way for people to create custom Megas for their favorites.

Of course, I'm not a programmer. Just a pokemon fan who loves Totodile and Swampert a normal amount.

I just would love to see Megas available in some capacity, even if you can't fuse them.

Megas in any capacity beyond sprite art has been a firm no since the beginning. Frog sees the whole fusion thing as enough of a gimmick that Megas are unnecessary.

• Enjoy some fun videos of staff playing the approved and (mostly) completed parts of the demo that have been put together so far

That's correct, but it works a bit differently for overworld Pokemon since those are already generated before you battle them. If two shinies fuse there, then the game treats it the same way as if you fused two of your shiny Pokemon
