but a way was found to change how the game handles fusions
instead of fusions being hard set, they could be done on the fly

this resulted in 2 big changes, the first being that as of 6.0, all type exceptions [barring Normal/Flying] would be gone, and the second being that they could expand the dex

it would still take time to add in any new pokemon, but now they could actually be added in

we still have the limit of Gen 7 being the cap though; to get Gens 8 and 9, would require a significant change in the code, to the point you'd need to remake the game from scratch using a higher version of Pokemon Essentials

Jirachi and the millennium comet pass earth for only seven days every 1000 years, and rayquaza has lived in the ozone layer for hundreds of millions of years, bare minimum of 100,000,000 years, so rayquaza/mega rayquaza has canonically lost to jirachi at least 100,000 times in a row, no wonder it feels the need to stroke its ego so much, it lost to this dinkly little thing:

Ray has never been shown fighting jirachi, but if rayquaza is obsessed with keeping other space creatures off its planet for at least 100,000,000 years, and jirachi/mellenium comet come to earth every 1000 years, it’s basically outright stated that they have to clash at some point

So since jirachi is not dead, and it’s landed on earth enough for it to be known it arrives every 1000 years…

I meant for teambuilding. The options we have for Serene Grace are good with Meloetta, but more options are always nice since King's Rock is banned in Showdown. Golisopod is one of those rare Pokemon that could create an entirely unique strategy with its ability combined with recovery moves. An in-game playthrough with 3 or more would be really fun

It is pretty funny that the most impactful starters are all from different gens. Serperior with Contrary and Glare, Greninja with Protean and Primarina with Liquid Voice. Serperior is definitely the one I'm looking forward to the most, but water Boomburst is also pretty hype
