Also, i noticed something fascinating after posting this. Despite having a much simpler concept and composition, it got a lot more interactions than my previous posters, which were densely packed full of cool fusions for these mons.

Idk if its the colors, the size and therefore recognizability of the mons, or something else causing that. Just something my goofy aah self noticed and thought was interesting.

Some parts are a little off imo, but youre on the right track. Heres my advice tho

First id say fiddle with the saturation and lightness of the bg so the lighter colors have a little less bite, most people use discord in dark mode so such a bright image can be a bit of a flashbang to the unprepared.

Then, make the mons bigger. Fill up as much of that empty space as youre able to while keeping them in their respective areas (but keep the two base mons around the same size and on the same y level as each other, dont want one to overshadow). If you have access to it, the drop shadow effect can also help both fill space and integrate them into the bg better

Finally, just mess around in your settings a bit! Fx is your friend, even if its a bit intimidating at first.

I really dont get the dhelmise hype, its a super basic design imo AND its an objectmon. I think you could already make a ghost anchor anyways with something like metagross/aegislash.

Plus we have a BETTER seaweed mon. Dragalge has multiple colors and good fusion potential for both head and body.
