• Goldenrod Radio Tower (Upstairs): Play the "Guess That Fusion" Quiz Show (Save beforehand in case of crashes). Scoring 25,000; 35,000; 40,000(A Perfect Game) points in a single run of the Advanced mode will each reward you with a Master Ball.
• Resort Gorgeous (Selphy's Requests): Complete Selphy's request to get a Master Ball, and earn another one every 10th request.

Hey @winged charm! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

Global:

• Makes it so that if Pidgey was randomized to Pikachu on route 1, all Pidgeys on all routes are Pikachu.

Area:

• Better randomization than Global. Makes it so that each route has their own randomized set of encounters.

yeah, one quest requires you have Rocket Balls, which the game gives you, but if you randomize, those rocket balls turn into something else. so you need to find rocket balls and buy them

No the main quest is not impossible. The only downside of randomizing is you can not get pokedex completion rewards and items from quests can randomize, locking you out of optional side stuff

They can also be bought from the Silph Co. Lobby for 11,000$ if you saved 7 or more employees, or 8,000$ if you saved all the employees!

To use Exp Share, give it to a Pokémon to hold. That Pokémon will now gain XP without needing to participate in battle.

Exp Share will NOT stack with Exp All.

Hey @austere axle! Are you looking for a Moon Stone? You can find it in Mt. Moon (dark room on a rock and summit at night), the Lavender Stone Maniac, the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar, in the Goldenrod Dept. Store and the Goldenrod Stone Maniac, and Tohjo Falls.

How to Update to the Latest Version (Windows)

• If you're on or above 6.6.0 double click INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat to update.
• If you're below 6.6.0 you must either reinstall in a NEW folder (since the updater won't work due to bugs) or use the New Launcher to update.
• Reinstalling doesn’t remove or require you to move any Save Files.
• If playing on a Randomized save, make sure to reshuffle after updating. Use ?tag reshuffle if you need help.

REGARDING SPRITE ISSUES:

NOTE: If you are offline and cannot play the game online, you can either download the newest spritepack from #spritepack-releases (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID) or use the alt download (mentioned at the bottom of this message)

If you have seen even a single custom or base sprite for any pokemon:

Do this first: navigate to the help man in the Pokecenter and go to Sprite Options -> Clear Sprite Cache.

Otherwise, your game is fine and working properly! The game can only download a limited number of sprites while playing before going on cooldown, you have simply hit the download cap for now.
If you still feel like your sprites are not downloading, ensure that you have your "download data" option enabled and your device is connected to the internet.

If you have not seen even a single sprite for any pokemon:
Your game is not working properly!
Step 1. Ensure you're on the latest version (check your title screen and compare with #downloads)
Step 2. Ensure you have a good internet connection.
Step 3. Check your options in a save, turn on "download data" if it was turned off.
Step 4. If that did not fix it: head to a pokecenter > talk to the man in a black suit with sunglasses and navigate to Sprite Settings and select "Reset sprite cache" & "Reset displayed alt sprites".
Step 5. If that did not fix it, delete any game or launcher folders and do a full reinstall.
Step 6. After reinstalling, repeat step 4.

If for some reason none of this works, type ?tag altdownload in #ask-a-bot and reinstall using those files (NOT APPLICABLE FOR ANDROID)

Alright so you defeated Claire, you now have to go to Mahogony Town. When you head up through the snowy area, you'll see a gap you need Golbat Boots to cross. You will get those boots in Sprout Tower in Violet City
