1. Don't play randomised your first time
2. Don't waste all your money on splicers U can easily get away with not fusing til after beating misty
3. Do the optional fight with Ur rival on the route to victory road before you beat Brock (unlocks a secret area)
4. Don't obsess over trying to get the "best fusion" there's always gonna be smth better just go for what U like
   anything can be used in this a friend of mine who's a mod beat this with a single gastly
5. Don't cheat in the reward you get for completing the Pokedex (debug boots) permanently losing help from us in the server isn't worth it

For classic mode it's Bulbasaur by far

It's great for the first 4 gyms which when talking about best starter for X game usually only the first 2-3 gyms are really necessary so for Bulbasaur to be great at the first 4 is amazing

It's also good later on but you more so focus on early game since at late game Uve got all the options

Bulbasaur has a lot of potential and it's definitely the best for early game yeah. Partially because there aren't a lot of "good" offensive Grass types, especially among the ones you can get early.

Personally if I'm going Kanto starters I like Charmander because Palossand / Charizard is just so good, even if it's mid-late game

Now for remix mode (if you don't know it's a mode with different gym typings) fire types are the best here now which one of them are the best if U gimme a min I'll look and give a rough answer

I'm not a huge fan of Bulky Offense, I'm more partial to fast sweepers. Yes, a lot of trainers like to run Strudy to screw you over but in my experience going first is too much of an advantage to sacrifice for the extra bulk, unless you're going for dummy tanky fusions with setup shenanigans. But imo the game isn't hard enough to require that

Then again, I mainly play Doubles mode with a support mon so your mileage may vary. It's been ages since I've done a singles mode run

Having trouble keeping up your chain? Read through the steps below.

1. Gather up Repels and Pokéballs of your choice. It is also recommended to have Elixirs, Ethers, or Leppa Berries as well to maintain PP.
2. Apply a repel outside of the grass ⬅️ and then enter the grass where your desired Pokémon is located. The Radar has its own built in Repel that only lasts 8 steps. The extra repel is for larger patches that would require more than those 8 steps. For small patches of grass, additional Repels aren’t needed
3. Use the Radar and interact with rustling grass until you find the Pokémon you are looking for, running away from any Pokémon you are not hunting.
4. Defeat or capture the Pokémon. Do not run away. More grass will be rustling around you. Choose a spot that is 4 steps away through grass tiles and is surrounded by grass on all sides. If such a location does not rustle, reuse your PokéRadar until it is. This will not break your chain.
5. Repeat step four until you find a shiny. You can use items between battles to maintain your Pokémon HP and PP.

After 20 battles, you have maxed out your Shiny chance. After 40 battles, you no longer risk breaking your chain based on grass distance however, having grass tiles around a spot is still important.

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.

Minior and Minior Core are treated as 2 separate pokemon, and the game swaps between them depending on your HP if you have the shields down ability.

Stance Change swaps your Def and Spdef with your Atk and Spatk respectively when you use an attacking move, and swaps them back when you use King's shield. this doesn't change the form, so the stats you make in a fusion will always be for the defense stance by default (meaning Stance Change fusions are best with tanky mons)

How to transfer Hidden Ability from one Pokémon to another

This can ONLY be done with Pokémon caught naturally with their hidden ability, not with a hidden ability ball. Easiest method would be going to Secret Forest which is always a Hidden Ability area, as it doesn't matter which Pokémon you get with a hidden ability. It only matters that it naturally had that HA.

NOTE: Fusions encountered in the wild with a HA will lose that ability when they are unfused. Because of this, wild fusions will not work this.

Take mon with HA and fuse it with the mon you want a HA on, and make sure the mon that currently has the HA is the body

Choose the HA, then use a reverser to reverse the fusion, then unfuse the fusion. The other pokemon should now have its HA!

NOTE: Sometimes stats will be temporarily messed up, but will fix upon leveling or fusing

On the new HA mon, you'll actually get access to the move relearner moves of the moves the other pokemon knew when it was captured in addition to the regular moves it can relearn.
