That's a good way to play, but people asking about type usually do so to figure out a team to take.
For example in gen 1, an electric type could wipe out the first, psychic could destroy the next two and ice (usually just anything with an ice attack even) would clean out dragons.

hey i got a question about custom sprites. ive noticed that allot of mons have more then one sprite and in the pokedex you can select what sprite you want used in your game. in the sprite folder ive also noticed they seem to do this by ading a a, b, c, d, exetera at the end of the dex numbers. however ive noticed that for some reason this dont also apply to the tripple fuse mons? despite them having multiple options in the sprite folder with the a, b, c, d added to the end? not sure if this is a bug or not. is their any way to fix it other then manually renaiming the sprites i want to se in my game each and every time i update my game?

From the Secret Forest, you can then enter the Viridian River where depending which tile you enter from, you will find different sets of starters as an overworld encounter. You'll hear a sound cue if an overworld encounter spawns when you enter the area.

hey i got a question about custom sprites. ive noticed that allot of mons have more then one sprite and in the pokedex you can select what sprite you want used in your game. in the sprite folder ive also noticed they seem to do this by ading a a, b, c, d, exetera at the end of the dex numbers. however ive noticed that for some reason this dont also apply to the tripple fuse mons? despite them having multiple options in the sprite folder with the a, b, c, d added to the end? not sure if this is a bug or not. is their any way to fix it other then manually renaiming the sprites each month when a new batch comes out?

Triples are not meant to have alts. they have 1 sprite - the one that comes with the game.
that being said - you also shouldn't be importing spritepacks monthly at all.

for some pokemon the game thinks there are more sprites than there are in reality. thus when randomly selecting one (for the first encounter) there is a chance it selects an empty one.

but if you change the triple sprite and update the game, it will revert back to original cause of the updater.

You can definitely get some good ones but the random aspect makes it unreliable at best when it comes to getting something useful to your team.
A good portion of the fun of this specific game comes from using weird fusions that might be worse than their componants in just about all aspects though, so those random fusions are a nice touch, and they make for a fun variant of the nuzlock, only using those premium ticket results for example

There is a slightly faster way if you are not trying to do that for your first one, the confirm button switches to the next batch entirely, then you can go back one step with left and be on the last pokemon of the previous (well, next in chronological order), only needing to press right to have that screen.

Of you've already completed all the team rocket quests, or otherwise locked yourself out of them, I think you have to do the mission with Rocket

If you meant should not have gender anymore, then it is not working as far as I can tell, nearly all of my fusions have a gender and it seems to be based on the body (not 100% sure on that part but that's what my IV fusions lead me to believe at least).
I am using 6.4.7 too
