How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

How to get Mimikyu to spawn:

1. You have to leave the room and come back for it to reset
2. **IMPORTANT ** Before playing the piano, use the Image below. These are the Register points for each room. Make sure to walk over those squares facing those directions multiple times for the puzzle to recognize you "Been" to each room. This is the reason for it to not spawn correctly.
3. Play the piano and interact with the doll. It will say "This wasn't here before" and should be in a different location now. Move to the room the doll is in and interact with it.
4. Repeat these steps until the doll is on top of the piano.
5. Talk to the doll on the piano and that is when you get the "Run away" sound cue. This means if you go to the entrance room, Mimikyu will be there.

-** IF THE DOLL GETS STUCK**, repeat step 1 to reset the room and try it again. Step 2 is important for the doll to not get stuck.

Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash! You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above) (only once you have the HM already).

For the type expert outfit challenges i have what i think is a bug. I talked to them, only had like two steel types. Backed out of the convo and added more steel types. Went to challenge them and they only say "you beat me at my own game" and wont let me challenge them and i dont have the outfit.

Do these experts reset after awhile so i can challenge them again? Ive tried leaving the area, waiting 24 hours with the sleeping bag, and quitting and reloading the game and just get the "you beat me at my own game" response every time

In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. Hey @timber roost! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK
