If you did download from a fake site, go through these steps:

  1. Delete all the save files from the fake files. It's not recommended to keep these, as they have bugs and data that the normal game doesn't have.
    🔵 Your game folder has a shortcut that you double click named Savefile to take you to the location to delete all save files. They are named File A.rxdata.
  2. Delete any zipped/unzipped folders from there

Hey @queen roost! Are you looking for a Cyndaquil? You can find them in Viridian River as a rare static encounter. You also get given one of the Johto starters in Fuchsia City by your rival as one as one in Goldenrod City by Elm’s assistant, and one in Newbark Town (postgame).

The Sprite Server is currently down for everyone.

  • This means you will have question mark sprites or invisible sprites for Pokemon until it is back up.
  • We don't have an ETA on a fix, but we currently have a beta out to try and test the new server.

How to Fix Manually

Lightweight Installer with ALL Sprites + Guide

  • Download, Extract to a new folder, Open Game.exe. Nothing else needs to be done.
  • Don't merge or copy anything into it, this zip has everything setup and ready to play for you with ALL sprites.
  • This carries over your save file, you don't need to move or download anything else.

Hey @nocturne aspen! If you are on version 5.3.1.2 and higher, follow the info below. If you are on a version lower or don't see the files, you will need to reinstall the game in a new folder using our guides (this doesn't delete your save): [HERE](#tech-support message)

Lightweight Installer Update:

  1. Open your game folder
  2. Double click 'INSTALL_OR_UPDATE.bat'

App Installer Update:

  1. Open the App
  2. Click Installation Menu -> Update Game -> Click Update

Both options will update the game files for you. If it didn't, rerun the update and wait for it to finish. Take and share a screenshot of the window to #tech-support

Certain Pokeballs can increase the catch rate of Pokemon based on a multiplier

  • Normal Pokeball = 1x
  • Great Ball = 1.5x
  • Ultra Ball = 2x
  • Fusion Ball = 3x if the wild Pokemon is fused. 1x otherwise.
  • Masterball = 100% catch rate.
