Sounds like a variation of the update with swapped sprites needing a reset of the player sprite.

Try giving it a quick try by using whatever your running boots button is and walking. And otherwise check in the the fix man in the pokecenter

Hello, i'm back with questiosn on the fusion mechanisms, i suspect the infinite dex calculation to be incorrect.

I tried to calc via excel what stats would a aegislash * pyrax fusion using the wiki formula
and i find 2 different results for the special defense stats on both fusions

am i missing something ?

Hey @elder escarp! Looking for the Pokéradar? You can obtain it from Professor Oak's Assistant on Route 24, but she only appears after you meet her in the Cerulean Pokécenter.

When you use the Pokéradar, a repel automatically activates and grass will shake. This indicates which tile the Pokémon is in. If you are having issues with the encounters fleeing or need more info, use the Wiki Page: Wiki LINK

I had an bug a week ago that forced me to delete my data folder and reinstal the folder with the update bat.
now I only today realized that I had been playing with the vanilla random encounter file that comes with the data folder reinstal.

Ive been playing with some rules for my random saves, and now wonder which settings the vanilla random_encounter uses as it might have messed up my saves rules if they are too far off (especially the wild pokemon value)
I would check with the reproman but I ended up overwriting it and cannot confirm anymore but also lost the file I was overwriting it with (pressed cntr-Z to undo (was distracted) and it for some reason it did not return the cut file)

Ill try and re-explain but I am having trouble concentrating so sorry if I still end up being unclear...

I know that lost files cannot be returned, thats a me problem.

I however been playing with some rules for my random games, but realized today that the random_encounter file I was playing with last was not the one fitting the save but the one that comes when you reinstal the data folder.
I deleted that file by overwrite before I realized I had been playing with the wrong settings.

Now ive done a good chunk of stuff in that save, and the main problem for it would be if the wild pokemon random value would be too far off from the rules ive set down, breaking the balance.
but as ive already overwriten it, i cannot check the vanilla settings for random_encounter file.

I wish to know if anyone happen to know said settings (especially the wild encounter randomized value) of the vanilla file so I know if I messed up with my saves balance settings.

Your game folder has a shortcut to this folder named: Savefile
Each save file represents the save slot you saved into. Example: If you saved into Slot A, your save is named File A.rxdata

If you want to transfer it, copy the save file into the same location above on the new computer.

That’s why the file Random_Encounters was made, so instead of using Vanilla_encounters it would use that

If it doesn’t exist it’ll default to vanilla. Upon randomizing a file, it’ll create a new one

it would help cause ive been hunting pokemon with that vanilla file in my E save on 4 areas for hours and got so many pokemon from that file.

but it was my lowest random setting save, if the vanilla random_enounter is more to the middle level, then I got pokemon with quite a bit higher stats which breaks the balance of the playthrough in a way that I dont like for later moments

yeah I realized I did still have an old backup of the game before I began using randomizer and I decided to check.

The vanilla that comes with a clean instal of data folder
has its values set to 200

from 50 to 200 is way to much... now to figure out how to deal with this

I've been running into a glitch for several versions now where when I enter the battle tower, it just makes me invisible and puts me in the room able to walk around, not actually starting the challenge. yes i started a new game and did that

then try going in the pokedex and fix it there, you should have every sprite for lanturn.

yeah some sprites just struggle to load (ive had this happen on a pretty good pc too usually just viewing it or switching in the dex fixes it)

also i don't know if like pokeballs are supposed to work like that but 8 times out of 10 i don't catch the pokemon no matter how low he is or what pokeball i use

at a point i started with like 40 ultraballs and just trying to catch ONE pokemon i spent like half of them
