even trainers on route are designed with a progression level curve. if you follow the rule of "i level to the ace of the next gym" - you basically trivialize every single trainer you come across

It's a temporary change like swords dance so it doesn't show up in the stat menu

(it's literally just power trick but with both physical and special)

the relearner can only relearn moves which the current evolution can learn.

just a made up example:

You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne. You can also get its replacement item, the Shears, on the east path of Route 2 (only once you have the HM already). You can use Cut to access it from the west path of Route 2, or take Diglett's cave from Vermillion City to get to it!

In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hey @indigo flame! Are you trying to evolve Tyrogue? It evolves at level 20! If it's attack is greater than its defense, it'll evolve into Hitmonlee. If it's attack is lesser than its defense, it'll evolve into Hitmonchan. If both are equal, it'll evolve into Hitmontop. You may want to fuse Tyrogue with a Pokémon that has a high attack or defense stat to make it evolve into the Hitmon you want!

and all trrainers use fusions

and no fusion has a gender by default, except the ones that you fuse yourself, they might have a gender
