A low stat range will make it more likely early, however there is ofcourse no guarantees, as it will remain random.

Hey @calm needle! Are you looking for Surf? The Surf HM can be found in Fuschia City's Safari Zone, Area 4! You can follow the path in the image above to get to a house. In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM! You can only use Surf outside of battle if you have 6 Badges. You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hey @raven hare! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @grizzled hound! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

You can get an S.S Anne ticket from Bill at the end of Cerulean Cape, which is north of Cerulean. You'll then find the key to the Captain's cabin on the deck of the S.S Anne. I noticed that most dex that show fused mons show all the abilities for both H/T versions of a given mon. Is there a reason for this? From the faq, "You choose what ability a fusion has when you fuse it. A fusion may have either the body Pokémon's first ability, or the head Pokémon's second ability." Which means that both forms can't get all the abilities. Is there a way to give a mon an ability it cannot get through fusion or something?

Why do we have sprite packs? If you have unstable internet, you can use the sprite packs to install them manually using this Guide.
