If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

IIRC beating the E4 and Gold reset different parts of the Ho-Gia encounter event and if you go to the top of Navel Rock having only done one it will still trigger the other flag without giving you the encounter, so you need to beat E4 and Gold without going to Navel Rock in between. If you get the Kyurem stuff out of the way before the final gym challenge-associated boss, you unlock ||triple fusions||... Now that I think about it that may be changed in a previous update but better safe than sorry.
Aside from that:

• Deoxys, Necrozma, Meloetta, Darkrai (and Cresselia), Mew, and Genesect all have fun side content.
• Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem have some interesting dungeon puzzles with some content attached to them.
• Hoenn's weather trio are annoying (and migraine-inducing) but they have unique areas to them.
• Lastly ||Arceus|| is the finale of Eusine's storyline. Needs all three Kanto birds and Johto beasts

Normal gameplay has the sprites loaded dynamically, meaning they are downloaded on an as needed basis.
Preloaded is a dl-free version where it just uses the sprites already downloaded onto your computer from the spritepacks. Best if used in an area with spotty internet and not much else imo

If you have obtained at least 2 Johto badges, talking with Professor Elm will allow you to enter Cerulean Cave. Mewtwo is found at the very end.

You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above) (only once you have the HM already).

I can move this if needed, but I just caught a regular Togetic while having all wild pokemon as fusions. I know the shaking grass can be an unfused pokemon, but shaking grass is impossible as I was in Diglett Cave at the time. Additionally, the pokemon radar sprite for the togetic was this. Just the DNA Helix. It had the regular Togetic sprites, and I have confirmed there is no defuse option available for it. It just a pure Togetic. Not that I mind such a great find, but does anyone have any idea why this would happen?

That is not what classic means. It is named classic cause it is the intended way to play the story. You can catch all available mons in classic but later gen mons you get later in game

Hey @fleet vine! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

We should totally add that I think though. Would be cool, also in case someone puts the game down for a while and forgets what they were doing, the game could enforce it.

Yeah I know some fangames do it; its just quite the hassle to code in the limits / pokemon states.
especially after the fact and with the included complexity of fusions.

It's probably more complex to actually do than it sounds I guess. Lol
