Hello, I have a few questions on how the in-game clock works.

I like to use the speed up feature in battles especially while grinding (awesome quality of life feature)

But does that speed up feature add minutes to your game play time saved on the Trainer Card/save file? So now I can’t get an accurate reading of how many real hours I’ve put into the game?

If yes, is there any other way to get an accurate read on my total hours?

Also, does minimizing the game pause that clock?

• If i minimize it for several hours, will it add that to my play time?
• If i put my computer to Sleep with the game still open, or minimized, will that add to my play time?

ok so i think you are getting some things confused

speed up, to my knowledge, doesn't "add minutes" to your game time, it just speeds up the in game clock [ex: time of day]

the time on your save is or should be accurate to how long you've been playing on that save

minimizing the game won't "pause" time
neither will putting your pc to sleep with the game open

opening the menu does pause time
saving the game and closing it pauses time

No. You can reach them without flooding. I. Fact, the parts with the planks cannot be accessed when it is flooded

For the first one, go to the area with the flooding machine, then keep going right to reach the correct ladder

For the second it’s as simple as walking up and down some stairs while unflooded

Hey @main bronze! Are you looking for Rock Smash? The Rock Smash TM is given you to you after you beat Brock. To get it, go into Mt. Moon. There, you'll overhear Team Rocket members talking. Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash! You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above). (only once you have the HM already.)

Hey @wise fiber! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @open field! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

Hey @frank bronze! Are you trying to evolve Nincada? It evolves into Ninjask at level 20! If you have an empty slot in your party and a normal red Pokéball in your bag (won't work with other balls), you'll also get a Shedinja! If your Nincada was fused with something else (say, a rare legendary), you'll thus have two fusions of that other Pokémon, successfully duplicating it. :eyes:
