Hey @fresh prawn! Are you having trouble finding the entrance to Mt. Ember? Talk to Team Rocket outside of Cinnabar Island's Ferry Dock. Follow them inside and they will steal the boat. You will need to use surf through the currents in the Offshore Road to get to Mt. Ember.

For me this only used to happen with actions for auto-gen sprites (like a 1-2s delay on actions).
Was fixed for me / drastically improved after ProtonGE9 dropped.

if you are talking about just switching boxes; this is bound to be slower every first instance of you doing so, the game has to load a shitload of data/spites for the pokemon in boxes.

Hey @hushed karma! Are you looking for a Deoxys? Here's a guide: ||A girl at the Kin Island's hotel mentions that she saw a meteor crash around Bond Bridge and asks you to go investigate. North of the bridge you will find a waterfall. Climb up to find two secret agent type NPCs around a small crater. Talk to them and they will ask you to find the other pieces of an alien spaceship. The first one is located on Route 32 near a ledge. The second one is underwater on Route 19, South of Fuschia. You have to find the dive spot on route 20 and then head east to find it. After finding the two pieces, go back to the secret agent near Bond Bridge and they will use the locations of the pieces to triangulate the location of the mothership. It is located on Birth Island. Ask the sailor in Cinnabar Island's harbour to take you there. Once on Birth Island you will find another spaceship part. Interact with it and it will start floating around. Interact with it twice more and Deoxys will appear.||

Im not 100% sure, and this may sound cheesy, but what got me into this game was watching a streamer play it, and I beleive in game they had access to later gen Mons than Gen 1 & 2. Maybe I just havn't stumbled upon any later gen mons?

Hey @regal relic! Are you looking for Surf? The Surf HM can be found in Fuschia City's Safari Zone, Area 4! You can follow the path in the image above to get to a house. In there, a scientist will give you the Surf HM!
You can also get its replacement item, the Surfboard, on Route 19, after getting 6 badges (and have the HM already).

Hey @tough summit! Are you trying to evolve Nincada? It evolves into Ninjask at level 20! If you have an empty slot in your party and a normal red Pokéball in your bag (won't work with other balls), you'll also get a Shedinja! If your Nincada was fused with something else (say, a rare legendary), you'll thus have two fusions of that other Pokémon, successfully duplicating it. :eyes:

If you want to use a controller, close the game, plug in your controller to your PC, and then open the Game.

Be aware, pressing F1 to remap controllers will not work. You need to use a 3rd party app like Steam or JoyToKey to remap your controller to keyboard presses. Ex: A button to Accept/Confirm = C Keyboard Key
