To anyone else having the Birth Island issue I had, I've found a fix by editing files to get into Debug mode, giving myself Magic Boots, and warping to the map ID that actually has the boat in Cinnabar Harbor. It was roundabout, but it worked.

Hey @proven adder! Are you having trouble with the Pokéradar? You get it from the scientist in Cerulean City's Pokécenter. She gives you the Exp share as a quest reward there, and then will go to Route 24, where she will give you the radar.
When using it, make sure you have a repel active, or else you may only get regular encounters.

I've been doing a randomized playthrough where the only things that's randomized is wild pokemon and pokemon static encounters like those from webs and mushrooms. However, It keeps saying that the randomizer is messing up and I need to rerandomize. I'm not sure what's causing it to need a rerandomize. But is there a way I can fix the issue without needing to randomize? I wanted to have that feeling of discovering what pokemon are on what routes. But there's no point in doing that if the problem will keep reoccurring. Does anyone know what's causing the game to need me to rerandomize it?

well just reset to before selecting the mon if you want the venu to be the body of the fusion. if you want it to be the head dont worry about the nature just make sure to catch the body with the nature you want as the head of a fusion gets a random nature and the only way to get a different nature is to catch mutiple, lead a syncornize pokemon with the nature you want or save before getting the mon then reset after seeing the nature

Hey @shy minnow! Are you looking for a Mimikyu? Mimikyu can be found in the creepy house on route 15 as a static encounter after doing a puzzle. (You will need rock smash, strength, and surf to reach the house.) Enter the house and go down into the basement , then go into each room and move around a bit inside to make sure the game registers you went in.
Next, go to the piano and play until you hear the "run away" sound, then go find the creepy doll in one of the rooms and INTERACT WITH IT; you should get a message along the lines of "This wasn't here before." Go back to the piano and repeat this until the doll shows up in all four rooms and INTERACT WITH IT EVERY TIME.
Once you've done this go to the piano and play again until Mimikyu shows up behind you and runs down. Follow it to the first room to find it waiting to fight.
Follow this guide if you're having trouble getting it to spawn!

F12 crashes the game when you are in the overworld but mostly works when in battle. Ppl report after a certain point in game, it will crash in battle too.

Hey @eternal gust! Are you having trouble starting the game? If you are launching v5, and your screen is stuck on black at startup, don't worry, it's normal. Leave the game running for a few minutes and it will work eventually.

Hey @toxic oar! Are you looking for Rock Smash? The Rock Smash TM is given you to you after you beat Brock. To get it, go into Mt. Moon. There, you'll overhear Team Rocket members talking. Head back out and talk to Brock, he will give Rock Smash! You can also get its replacement item, the Pickaxe, in Vermillion, in a green item ball behind the hotel and several Rock Smash rocks (see image above). (only once you have the HM already.)
