Hello, I’ve made it about 90 minutes into my first run, and yesterday I talked with the Update Man. The warning he gave about seeing the randomized screen popped up, so I backed out to avoid missing items. But I double checked today to make sure I didn’t change anything in the randomizer (because I over worry), but this time it didn’t give me the warning about entering the menu and went straight to the settings. Have I ruined this save file by accident?

If you're getting the "missing Game.ini" error, your game is not finding its necessary folders for some reason. Here's a list of things that may fix the issue:

1. Make sure that you have extracted the files from the ZIP, and aren't running the game straight from the zipped folder.
2. Make sure the game.exe file is in the folder with everything else. You might've moved it while trying to make a shortcut or something.
3. Rename the folder with the extracted files to a name without numbers or special characters, e.g. "PokemonInfiniteFusion".
4. Move the entire folder somewhere else on your computer. Moving it to the desktop seems to work for most people.
5. Redownload and re-extract the game in full.

If you go west from Celadon City to where the Snorlax is sleeping, then go up to the small house, there’s a hidden forest just left of that house.
Then at the bottom of the forest is an exit to a location called “Viridian River”. That’s where all the starters can be found

They will have a chance of appearing as static encounters randomly whenever you hear the “run away” sound effect upon entering (1-3 will show up in different spots)
If you’re lucky and don’t have Surf, there is a very slight chance one will appear in the spot you enter from. The other spawn spots all require Surf however
