Does anyone have any suggestions on improving FPS at Leviathan? FPS drops immensely when I enter scar/Leviathan.

I have steady 70+ FPS and 11-12 ping anywhere else in the game, only Leviathan gives me these FPS drops.

I literally bought a new gaming laptop (AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS, 16GB RAM and 8GB graphics) because of this issue, I have up to date drivers, run on low detail mode, reinstalled runelite and stripped all useless plugins and I still have these FPS issues at Levi.

It degrades at 320 ess stored. If you repair an empty pouch you can fill it fully 7 times but the 8th tries to store 320th and it degrades.
If you then repair that degraded pouch it already has 35 so filling only uses up 5/320 and you get the 8th. So without keeping track it really alternates between 7 and 8 laps. For ZMI I use RC lap tracker and try to to repair while running to ladder every 7 so it never degrades. I've never seen this random thing or it ever degrade sooner. If Jagex intended it to last 8 they should have set it to degrade at 321. Might be off by 1 bug.

Any idea why the cox additions overload/enhance timer would not work or sync via party? I can see other peoples overload timers but not my friends and my friend doesnt see anyones timers. He has the setting ticked in the plugin. Everything else works correctly via party plugin, venges, specs, hub party panel, just not the ovl timer.

I just noticed this happening yesterday. Runelite has been "fighting" for focus on my pc. When I click on another application, Runelite keeps priority. This isnt happening on all applications though. Specifically just ones with black and white title bars. So for instance discord doesnt have an issue taking the current window status away from Runelite, but another application like some other games, can't take the current active window status away from Runelite.

My time tracker plugin is broken. I've tried using ::resetfarmtick like the wiki suggests and that worked at first it keeps getting desynced. I also tried standing next to a tree when the growth cycle advances and that worked too but it still gets desynced after a little bit of time. Now the command doesn't work at all. It started when I planted a (I think) calquat tree in Kastori but I think I did it on or about the same tick as when the growth cycle advances. I don't know what to do.

running as admin will cause the client to attempt to forcibly fix any permission issues that might exist in your runelite folder

for example if your settings were actually set to hide, no matter how many times you double-tap alt to swap it back to show

it could have been reading that old setting value, which would cause it to "reset" back on startup

if you mean you're on gpu legacy, because you were on gpu earlier, that could be it

gpu legacy is the gpu we were using for the past few years, gpu is the changes needed for sailing

so neither of them check out to perfectly be the answer, but it also could maybe be either of them

Hello, my game's been acting weird as hell today and yesterday and I was told to ask here for help. I've been having micro disconnects that cause lag, sometimes the disconnects stretch up to 5+ seconds though. I first noticed it yesterday and thought it was a bug with a plugin, but I just tried running the official osrs client and it had the same issue. I was told that if I posted the logs from runelite here you guys might be able to tell me if my ISP is breaking runescape somehow (maybe the ddos protection stuff they just added?) I've attached the logs from today and yesterday, the first day the problem started. Any help is appreciated.

The times in the time tracker plugin don't properly indicate when my trees or crops finish growing. Using ::resetfarmtick doesn't do much to help as it sometimes shows my trees as being in a different growth state from where they actually are in the game. I'm sure a reinstall would probably fix the issues I'm having but I don't want to have to go back and reinstall all the plugins that don't come pre-installed with the the program.

a reinstall wouldn't fix the issue, nor would it get rid of all your plugins unless you did a reformat or cleared the data directory manually

I'm running into a problem where the non-legacy GPU plugin seems to be causing all artifacts to become fully black (same color as skybox?). I can't seem to uncheck any one box that recreates the same appearance as the legacy GPU plugin

I'm on an M4 Mac, using an LG display monitor. Is the new GPU plugin just incompatible with Macs? I also updated recently to v2.7.6 via brew, although I was seeing the same issues with v2.7.5. Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure I understand. I (assume) it grows at the time the game intends for it to grow at, it just doesn't show the correct time that should finish growing. It's fine now since I was able to use ::resetfarmtick and I visited the patches that showed they were on the wrong cycle. I can try to follow up if/when it's off again but I don't know how much more it'll show that I haven't described already. In the past it's always shown the correct time it finishes growing whether I plant it 5 minutes into the growth cycle or 5 minutes before it rolls over to the next one.

Papayas always take 16 hours to grow, I have it calculated out actually so I always know when they finish growing no matter when I plant them. My timers now says 8:20 instead of 8:22 after resetting my farm tick. They never used to end with 0, it would always be 09, 19, 29 etc. And my papayas would always grow at 09 29 and 49, never at 19 39 and 59 so I really don't understand what's going on. All the stuff I have growing right now ends in xx:x0 and not xx:x9.

There are times when it somehow calcs the wrong offset rarely, afaik its when people's clocks are off

When I did it earlier it changed the times that they finished growing so I thought it was fixed but I guess I took it for granted that they'd be correct. Now that I know that it doesn't show the correct time that my papayas finish growing I know what to look for to know if my times are correct. I just don't understand why standing next to a tree when it grows didn't work when I tried it earlier and why the reset command didn't work either.

And if the thing that grew is a longer growth timer than before it will update the offset to what it just saw

So generally when people are in the farming guild and something happens to the redwood I think then it'll be broken forever until reset

When im afk skilling (example is fishing trawler) and i alt tab from one game whether thats League or Shadow of War osrs wont let me tab to those games. rather what i have to do is tab to google then tab to the game. The offset is up to 30 minutes though so only trees+ will expose the whole thing

I've had the jagex servers just be slow. One day my farming tick was 3 minutes slow. The next day it was corrected. I double checked my offset and it never changed. I think rarely the jagex servers just get a bit odd

Farming ticks should always be the same time. But then they're offset per player. So the trick is runelite has to learn how far off you are offset from the global farming tick

assuming i'm not misunderstanding the profiles system, you could maybe go to %userprofile%\.runelite\ and copy+paste the profiles2 folder somewhere

then close and re-open the client, and go to the tab, click the import profile button, and path to this newly copied folder

and import the $rsprofile file from the copy

this will only work if the loot tracker doesn't save until close, but i'm not 100% sure that's the case

so it's definitely possible it wont

Hey, having a similar issue, playing multiple accounts on the same monitor, when clicking between the accounts the input doesnt register at all, then the clients become glitchy (Ground item plugin doesnt work etc.) cannot move camera and the client i have previously clicked from stays on top (slight overlap between clients). tried clearing cache, turned plugins off 1 by 1 cant seem to find the issue. any ideas? thanks

That same issue with playing multiple accounts and only 1 instance of runelite being focused preventing input into other clients.

Turning off discord overlay for runelite fixed it for me. Unsure why it's not working for the other person, but this seems to be the solution.

hi guys, the 'TOB QoL' plugin has an option for 'hide white screen' at soteseg when you get picked for maze, i've got the plugin turned on and that option ticked but i still get the white screen
anyone know what could be causing this?

gpu plugins automatically turn off, even after restart, it wont let me turn them on

fix:
an easier fix than uninstalling adrenaline and installing the driver you want.

device manager > display adapters > GPU > properties > driver > rollback driver

i am running runelite through the jagex launcher on linux, everything works fine, is there any option to increase interface font size scaling? i heard about --configuration start parameter but its not doing anything on linux, is there any plugin or config file to set scaling properly? text is very tiny on 27 inch monitor

If you're on Linux your window manager may only support integer scaling

Or have a toggle to enable fractional scaling

i use flatpak

i think it doesnt recognize any command line arguments

here is a solution for linux font scaling:

flatpak override --user --env=GDK_SCALE=2 com.jagexlauncher.JagexLauncher
flatpak override --user --env=GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.8 com.jagexlauncher.JagexLauncher

GDK_SCALE=2 GDK_DPI_SCALE=0.7 flatpak run com.jagexlauncher.JagexLauncher

by the way, on some screenshots or videos i saw interface scaling options built into ingame settings, where did it go, can't find it anywhere

You can scale the game UI with stretched mode plugin, but the RL UI cannot be scaled ingame
