RuneLite doesn't work or doesn't load the Plugin Hub
You may have installed a fake version of RuneLite. Ensure you have downloaded RuneLite from https://runelite.net.

Why is my RuneLite outdated?
When the game updates RuneLite can break temporarily. This is usually fixed shortly after when we release a new update to RuneLite. After the update has been made (usually announced in #announcements), simply restart RuneLite to automatically get the new update. If it still doesn't work, you may have installed a fake version of RuneLite. Ensure you have downloaded RuneLite from https://runelite.net.

What is open source?
RuneLite being open source means that the code is publicly visible and that it can be inspected by anybody.
Anyone can submit code to improve the client, but the change is only added into the client after we've inspected it so that it doesn't contain any malicious or rule-breaking code.

How do I become a patron/can I donate to RuneLite?

My settings in the sidebar are overlapping when moused over.
Try disabling hardware acceleration: https://github.com/runelite/runelite/wiki/Disable-Hardware-Acceleration

What is the Plugin Hub, and is it safe for my account?

The client isn't launching or you are receiving a dialog popup exclaiming a "Fatal Error"

However the #support channel is a great place to ask and have someone assist you with any issue you are currently having.

I created an account using Google/Apple/Steam/FaceBook, how can I play with it on RuneLite?
In order to login to the game using RuneLite you need upgrade the third party login to a Jagex account. Jagex has a page on how to do that on their website.

After that you must use the Jagex Launcher to launch RuneLite as the game client for Old School Runescape.
