Hey i have a quick question, is the interface styles plugin not working?

It always used to look like image 2 but it looks like image 1 now and the setting dont change anything, it just moves the icons a bit

How do you help with, what I can only describe as UI lag for Runelite? Like actions are delayed by what seems like freezing or just not registering.

Example : When trying to plant seeds, I will use them on the patch, my character won't plant the seeds. Or If I click to pay the farmer to watch my crop, it doesn't register and nothing happens. I often have to repeat what I want to do in-game before my character does it.

When rotating my Camera, I will let go of WASD to stop it from rotating because its where I want it to be. But the game still registers I am pressing keys and continues to rotate the camera around as if I am still holding WASD.

I don't know who manages clue scrolls plugin but it is causing some problems with the stealing homes activity on varlamore, the bonus activity chest arrow doesn't appear when display hint arrows is enabled on the plugin.

You can’t be using bank layouts with inventory set ups. Make sure that’s off.
Next make sure you have no place holders for the potions in the bank that are also in Potion storage

long story short jagex blocks auth.runescape.com and account.jagex.com in my country, so i tried using a vpn but in the runelite logs i still see Client error: Login authentication error. Response code: 403 Forbidden Response body: error code: 1020.

how can i make sure if runelite is actually using my vpn or not?

Has anyone played on the new m4 or m4 pro mac mini? Ive got a base m4 and I am having framerate issues.

Fps drops on Prif. And Darkmayer. To like 20 fps. With the prif plugin it goes back to around 50. (Monitor capped at 75fps 1440p)

And I also get a randomly moment's were the camera and all elements move kinda choppy (for like 2-3 seconds) but i get no fps drop.
I play with gpu plugin.

I tried 117 the fps drops in most areas.

Any1 with the m4 pro have a better experience? Good fps etc. (Might consider upgrade to m4pro)

What's your monitor's refresh rate? I get the same thing you're describing whenever the ingame FPS doesn't match my refresh rate

Sometimes it's really bad with hitching and delayed inputs. Hard to capture on video (I wouldn't be surprised if the discord video is 60fps which hides the effect)

The Inventory Tags plugin allows you to customize highlighted outline colors on items, you can pick the color by holding shift and right clicking on the item in your inventory then picking the color from the color picker window that appears, any previously used colors will already be available in the rightclick menu.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

Where is the text shadow in the chat box drawn? I've been trying to find it forever. I've tried checking SpritePixels as well, can't seem to find where it gets drawn.

You can use AHK to map space bar to middle click or remap a key/mouse click to to another key/click but that’s it. You can’t do more than G::H or whatever the syntax for switching is

Be sure to make the AHK read the window it’s on to not switch it everywhere but only on runelite to prevent confusion when you decide to load another game

Hello, Runelite is stuck on the retrieving client step and it always gets stuck at the same 3.8 / 4.0

I've tried opening it from jagex launcher, RL app, RL Safe mode, RL Debug Mode, Run as admin (both Launcher & RL), with and without antivirus or any firewall blockage, and restarted my pc, but it gets stuck at the same exact step every single time.

Many plugins from the pluginhub break the client in subtle or not-so-subtle ways, including causing issues like client freezes. We do not support pluginhub plugins because we do not make or quality control them, and do not recommend their use.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

This temporarily disables the GPU plugin and all hub plugins which will allow you to confirm the issue is caused by one of those plugins and isn't a core RuneLite issue.
If the issue is caused by a hub plugin, you should isolate which plugin it is and then uninstall the plugin.

Mac
In Terminal, run:
/Applications/RuneLite.app/Contents/MacOS/RuneLite --configureTick the Safe mode box. Launch RuneLite.

If it's not working, download and install the updated RuneLite launcher from the website link in #welcome. You don't need to uninstall your current version. You will not lose any settings or plugins. Then try running safemode again.

hey, I got a new PC and synced all my settings over from the old one which went great, only thing when the PC goes to sleep, the client size resets. The value is still stored in the correct way so when I hit + or - it reverts to the proper size. Any ideas how to fix?

I'm not sure any stress tests or anything would trigger this issue. But having multiple clients open (not even logged in) might speed up your reproduction rate.

i have no idea , all i did was turn off the option that was stated , when i turned pc on all fine , had google chrome open , on call in discord , and doing tob , and then bam , entire screen froze at bloat , and entire pc

i might be stupid but it seems my colossal pouch will have "320" under the pouch regardless of the pouch degradation. I have tried disabling all plugins completely. This is removed when on the standard client. Any ideas?

it's a hub plugin not respecting it's removal of the overlay when you disabled it

it's probably the pouch degredation plugin by infinity if i had to guess

hub plugins some times don't respect the shutdown event or don't actually clean themselves up on clean up

I cleared the cache and loaded the game on launch with no plugins. (besides 117) I'm using the same settings I was using on my windows 10 install, and I'm still having the issue of tiles not loading until I get close, then lag when they all load at once.

Have you tried the things being suggested? Like older gpu drivers or experimental gpu plugin?

Or newer drivers I guess, seems less likely to work that direction though.

I've used the gpu plugin, and it still happens, just less often, and with less stutter, but it's still common. I'm on the latest nvidia stable game ready stalker 2 build. I'm using pretty high settings for 117, but the issue wasn't occurring with my windows 10 installation that I switched from that was using the exact same settings.

Okay, so they suggested the "Experimental GPU plugin", and I suggested "Older gpu drivers", not the most recent.

Newer drivers are often patched for more recent games while allowing other things to break.

Could also try a fresh (blank) RuneLite profile and see if it happens there with just GPU on.

Okay, I didn't realize it was on the plugin hub, I thought the default runelite plugin was considered experimental. I downloaded it, and it has noticeably decreased my stutter, but it's not completely gone. I tried 117 on a fresh profile and the stutter was still there unfortunately.

Yes, but I always have, I imported the profile from my old install, and tested 117 on a fresh profile, and it's still nowhere near as smooth as my old install.

Nah, that's not what's happening, it's not a microstutter.

Map chunks won't load seamlessly, they all load at once and full freeze the game.

that's all you should be trying, try old drivers not new imo

that is the #1 thing a driver update is meant to do is update to work better with new games or more important games, they do not care if they negatively impact lego star wars or disablo classic or runelite's gpu plugins

you likely would not see a negative experience if you found a driver that is older that still works for runelite but also works for the other games you're playing

I honestly might, I just installed a month ago, and I've been having a ton of problems. It could also just be a dying storage drive that is causing more problems on the new installation than it did on my previous one.

I don't think I was lagging on the older drivers you might be right, I forget. I didn't really roam too much though, so it's hard for me to notice. I just went to the agility course and back since I've been on 11. I just updated my drivers the other night, and happened to start doing quests on RS after that.

This is on 70 draw 0 extended map loading. I get up to chunk loading zones, and they load when I get there instead of seamlessly. It's weird. I lag when they load on any setting, or gpu plugin I use.

Run the RuneLite (safe mode) shortcut, or with a Jagex account, first run the RuneLite (configure) shortcut and tick the Safe mode box, then launch RuneLite via the Jagex launcher.

Mac
In Terminal, run:
/Applications/RuneLite.app/Contents/MacOS/RuneLite --configureTick the Safe mode box. Launch RuneLite.

If it's not working, download and install the updated RuneLite launcher from the website link in #welcome. You don't need to uninstall your current version. You will not lose any settings or plugins. Then try running safemode again.
