I'm trying to use custom cursor plugin, and use the custom option. I have the cursor in the runelite files and correct format and name but its still not working.

Probably a non issue but under the Runelite site it shows a random blank account that has no info for loot tracker, GE, etc in it. When I go to delete it all it says for data contained is "itemcharges". Any idea why that is there and whether or not it's fine to leave alone?

yea I have been reading up on profiles. Just want to make sure this makes sense. I have copied over .runelite as suggested and when i open RL i am logged into the RL account i cant access on web. I should:

1. export properties
2. sign out of account i cant properly acces
3. sign in to RL account i can

However you normally open things, RuneLite should say "Safe mode" in the title bar when it launches into safe mode.

Hi, my client is crashing without an error, no JVM crash logs are being generated for it. I've deleted jagex cache, uninstalled and reinstalled runelite. i've turned hardware acceleration off, i've removed programs that were listed in the FAQ that could interfere with runelite. It usually happens more frequently when i have multiple clients open. 117hd is off, but GPU is on with low detail. I haven't tried safe mode just yet, to test if it's a plugin. Only plugins that have been added since reinstalling runelite were 117hd, quest helper and GOTR. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Err, Watchdog would let you do just player messages, but it's disabled in boss areas.

My ping remains the same (~20-23 ms). I've tried hopping worlds, but it seems to happen on every world. Other games run just fine without the same interruptions I'm getting on osrs. Any suggestions? its most likely a connection issue between you and the jagex server, but would need to see it to be sure. you could try it using a server in different area (for example if you use germany, use UK), or using a vpn

you could be having about 100 issues right now and have no idea because u don't use those apps or websites

open command prompt, type this in: ping -t oldschoolXXX.runescape.com where the XXX is your world minus 300, for example world350 = 50

then just keep that running while you play and check what it says when you notice lag

So what I noticed was a constant flow of 20ish ms with the occasional 30-40 ms. Right before the lag the ms reached 103, then got 3 replies between 40-60 and then it said "Request timed out." Then it continued with its replies

thought readding the string with the "has left" in place of "received a drop" might work, adding the string with | after it and removing the second bracket/adding it to the end

I shared the code for notify on highlight earlier. If you highlight your name, it only notifies if it's a player that says it

If you're getting notified for your username in drops, it's not chat notifications that's causing it

Those are the only message types that will cause it to fire
