Zooming out is VERY expensive though. I have a very strong gpu and zoomed out it can drop below 30fps in expensive areas. There might not be an issue at all

Having issues when running Runelite through the Jagex launcher. Every 5-8 minutes will freeze for about 3-5 seconds. Also randomly get logged out and am unable to log back in for a couple of minutes, receiving an error that reads “Failed to login”. Have tried PC reset, fresh install of Runelite and Jagex launcher, cleared cache, deleted .runelite folder in user profile folder, experimented with graphical plugins, and tried running in safe mode. Nothing has worked. WiFi is also not the issue as mobile client has had no problems and I’m usually streaming videos when this occurs.

I personally use catcull rom. It’s personal preference. For stretched mode also you can check integer scaling to make the stretching not do some weird stuff, but it won’t fill your whole screen.

I don’t have an ultra wide so my helpfulness ends pretty quickly here

Where would I go to report a possible bug? I looked through the GPU plugin FAQ page but didn't find this particular issue with it. For posterity's sake, I noticed an odd clipping issue with crocodiles when looking directly at them where the top of their head doesn't correctly render with the plugin on. I'm not sure if there is a wiki page for it, but when running runelite with the --developer-mode flag, it will load plugin jars from .runelite/sideloaded-plugins (you'll have to create the folder). The jar you can get by running the gradle task named jar.

I think you might also have to uninstall 117 HD through the plugin hub for it to not interfere

the plugins that allow free reign of user input have many times skirted the rules and caused outcomes that break Jagex's plugin rules

I've read the faq for submitting a new plugin and I'm ready to submit, but my plugin has a client script that will need to be added to runelite in order for it to work. Do I need to fork the runelite repository and add the r2asm and hash file of the client script to the runelite client's script folder, then make a pull request after I submit my plugin for approval?

there wasnt an update yesterday. this looks like your config is corrupted however. If you were to rename the profiles.json file in .runelite it would wipe your profiles which would probably let the client boot, then you might be able to import some of the non-corrupt ones back again

It should make a big difference according to the people I've helped. Try the following:

1. Close rl completely
2. Open rl configure, set scale to 1.0, press save/ok.
3. Open runelite
4. Open the gpu plugin, make sure it's enabled, set the UI scaling algo to catmull-rom
5. Use resizable instead of fixed if you're on fixed with stretched mode and think it's blurry

You can increase the ingame ui size through the stretched mode plugin afterwards if you are in resizable

Hi, the 117 HD plugin has been causing me performance issues ever since upgrading my graphics card. Before, I had a GTX 1050ti and runelite has been running fine with the HD plugin with only slight performance drops in areas like Priff. Now I have an AMD Radeon 7600 and my GPU constantly caps out at 100% causing massive frame drops (dropping to 20 fps and below) in most areas in the game, mostly when walking around.
Is this a common issue or is more information required to come to a solution, and if yes, what information?

Found a workaround. Windows on 125% scaling. Runelite (configure) on scaling on 1.0. Make game ~956px * 628px. Enable streched mode on 25% scaling. It's just the inventory that is a lil blurry than.

Thanks for this! It was encountering some errors with symbols (periods, question marks, parentheses, etc). I guess the plugin isn't able to filter those like I thought it was. 🤔 Thanks for the help!

well I should note that it's likely our filtering doesn't work 1:1 the way the regex system itself works, so what you've mentioned there might not be the problem, I just wanted you to find the one that matches d

gotcha. I just took out all the symbols that were raising errors, and now the chat filter is working as intended. I am not familiar with regex or how it functions

curious. is there a hotkey or way to steal focus from the game and put it on the sidebar? then i could press that and then alt+f4 or use something like ahk todo that for me.

when you click the 🔧 it should jump to the search box so I guess if your window is always in the same spot you could probably click the 🔧 and then alt+f4
