Its basically equal to redefining the meaning of a millisecond to something else, a unit of measure is meant to be constant. Many components in the client depend on it being 20ms/tick

I'm sure they would have designed things differently if they knew the zoom would be uncapped also. Bare in mind it was locked in for years. Now its it's being loaded with orders of magnitude more rendering then it was originally designed for, or expected to handle. Breaking past the limitations is difficult given the demands and constraints of the game, perhaps animations were the most difficult, but it's not impossible seemingly. The java client can hit 100+ fps easily.
But yeah, techniques for different constraints, and different expectations, for a different time.

Hey, question about feasibility. Right now when notifications fire in-game, if the window is in focus there is no way to distinguish different notifications from each other. If it's not in focus you can see what each notification was with the Windows popup. Would it ever be possible to add a toggle so that the notification text from the Windows popup also gets written to the ingame chat log, or is that not allowed?

I think menu entry swapper allows shift-click-to-buy from stores throughout the game, but this doesnt work at the ToB chests, one of the places that I would use it the most.

Is click-to-buy from ToB chests possible through any plugin that Runelite currently has? I know cheat clients can do it so the fact that Runelite cant makes me think maybe its forbidden for some reason?

I once broke runelite for a week when Adam merged one of my "fixes". I still wear that badge proudly 😬 but you can just look at how other stuff is done and work it out from there. I'm not a programmer but was able to make some things by just experimenting. The guide on github is really well done and easy to follow.
