Don’t target the sprout mole, it will most likely be eaten before you can kill it
To reduce the damage it deals, you can let everyone use guard and/or make everyone sad (with sad poem/poetry book) to increase defense||

...except for a few extremely niche cases, but for the most part it's good to remember this

Any possible explanations to these issues? My friend is playing OMORI for the first time and their experience is a little bit of a mess

1. Aubrey's attacks always whiffed during the BOSS fight and during the fight with the tutorial SPROUT MOLES up until YE OLDE SPROUT MOLE
2. Game froze* in the middle of the fight with YE OLDE SPROUT MOLE
3. Game crashed after the fight initiated with a FOREST BUNNY while looking for BASIL. Any wild encounters also did the same thing

While hitting jawsum with power hit to dismantle his defense

I suggest hitting him instead of thr gators individually cuz i think it spreads the damage between them

As to level i dont think it matters, the boss is fragile and so are the enemies

I reinstalled it twice. And I installed fix for arm macos from github. Without it I can’t even launch it. May it be because I had saves via saver mod?

Can you recall all the steps you did from start to finish?

1. Installing the game via steam.
2. Trying to launch.
3. Game crashes on launch.
4. Installing fix for macos silicon.
5. Launching the game.
6. Game opens with encountered bug.
   Now I am thinking it is because i have save files from improved save and load menu. Can it be the cause?

I completely deleted all OMORI files with backups and install again. And somehow it helped. Thanks you all!
