I tried the factory reset, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it didn't work and every time I turn off and on the computer the LEDs that don't work properly get better in colour, 2 days ago green would display as full on orange and now it is showing as yellow

(ASDFG line not working, 1 4 5 2 0 from numpad AND the arrow keys not displaying the right colours)

Sounds like there's some kind of firmware issue that's causing the RGB values to not be detected correctly. Reach out to #official-support and see what they can do for you. You can probably request an RMA for that and get a replacement board sent to you

It's going to be on the underside of the keyboard. There should be a sticker underneath that has the SteelSeries logo with a barcode. Right under that barcode will be a series of numbers and letters. That's the serial number

I have been buying and using Steelseries products for over 13 Years now even tough the quality has been declining constantly, Driver Software has always been an issue with your Products but at this point it is just not bearable anymore, the Siberia Headset just does not accept any setting i set in the software, many Months ago I noticed that if i press any side-buttons on the Sensei Ten the Mouse just craps its pants and i have to crawl under my desk, unplug and replug to get it to work again, until i accidentally hit that button again, assuming it was faulty Hardware i bought a NEW Sensei ten, and bang same issue, i should have known it was a Software-issue, but Steelseries never likes to support its older products, so i guess my new mouse is bricked forever as you decide you will not al least have 1 working driver for older OS. Over the years i bought 1 Siberia, 3 Siberia v2, 2 Sensei, 2 Sensei RAW, 2 Sensei Ten, i had Software issues with ALL of them... but still used them until i ran into hardware issues. I wish i had kept all the broken peripherals over the years because i want to send you this pile and demand a refund, this is unacceptable.

Hello. So uh.. I think my Arctis Pro Wireless Headset. Maybe?

So I have a GoXLR that's plugged into the Arctis Pro receiver with a 3.5mm (Headphone to Line-In)

It's been working fine until yesterday when it stopped working. I didn't drop them or do anything, they just seemed to stop.

I tried plugging the Receiver directly into my PC, my laptop and my phone but no luck.

I've also tried a handful of 3.5mm cables and had no luck.

When I plug them in via USB they work just fine and the battery says it's fully charged and the receiver says the headphones are connected.

I am not sure what's going on... I figured asking here would be worth a shot!

Does anyone have a part of Arctic Pro's who might be able to help spot what I might be doing wrong or maybe confirm that I need to bring this over to Best Buy to get them replaced?

So I'm on my third TUSQ headset now and the issue is that the sound halves in one bud it's been the right one the first two times so I thought it was just a design flaw maybe but on the third pair it's the opposite and the time before the issue arises is getting considerably smaller and now I'm torn on whether or not it's a factory issue, bad luck, or just the way I handle them which is just plug in plug out and roll up the cable I didn't use them much when they did work I think I got two sessions out of the newest pair

as long as your base station is set to "AUX" input, it should take any audio from the line in and play it in your headset. it does not pass audio to the line out. the line out will only play if the headset is turned off

my Arctis Pro Wireless chatmix stopped working all of a sudden. Now everything is stuck on the game channel. It's important to mention that unlike the Artcis 7 I was never actually able to select from multiple output devices with the Pro Wireless. Despite that, ChatMix worked exactly as expected until a few days ago. I've tried plugging it in to different USB ports and other various troubleshooting, but nothing works. Really I'm just trying to figure out how the SteelSeries Engine decides which devices go to which audio channel. I thought maybe it was game detection but that didn't seem to help.

I haven't had issues with echolocation or audio quality. I play hunt, siege, tarkov. All games where sound direction is incredibly important. I keep surround sound enabled in game mode. I don't use the volume limiter. Have you tried adjusting the mic sidetone? The only static I ever hear is feedback from my mic sidetone, usually from my computer fans. If I mute the microphone I hear complete silence until the audio is cranked very near maximum -- even then the level of static is minimal.

I bought a Steelseries Arctis Wireless Pro one year ago, (so I should still have warranty)

Sadly I have a problem with the left hinge which doesn't hold my ear cup anymore, sound still works but the earcup moves cuz its not fixed anymore.

Can Steelseries provide me with a replacement or a solution to this problem ?
Do I need to open a ticket even if Steelseries cant do anything about it ?
If I need to find a shop that can repair it, how much would it cost ?

ok just looked, 5 isn't compatible with XBox, which is why the dial doesn't give you any sound.

the 3.5mm won't give you light because it passes straight through to the drivers

to get louder sound out of the 3.5mm jack you need to turn up system sound on the XBox and use the dial on the back of the headset, the chatmix dial won't do anything

the Pro has much better drivers so there will be a difference esp. with high-res audio enabled. how much of a difference is really based on opinion and how sensitive your ears are, to me it's noticeable but not a whole ton, to people who are used to studio grade sound it's a world apart.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. For context, my parts are the following: R5 5600X, 32GB Corsair RAM, Gigabyte B550 Vision D-P, Gigabyte RTX3070, and a few SSDs/1 HDD.

My PC's been randomly crashing the past few days while gaming, and I get a black screen followed by a restart (audio glitches occur too, sometimes it says crash was cause of audiodg.exe and dwm.exe). At first it only happened while I streamed/played Apex, so I reinstalled Windows to potentially remove any errors with faulty drivers and applications. Over the past few days, Rust has been randomly crashing (usually starts with a bit of HARD lag/audio glitching, then a black screen, then a crash and restart).

Just now, I got a "b2" code on my motherboard which apparently suggests a bad GPU + I couldn't power off my PC for some reason? The power button isn't broken (it powers the PC on just fine), and it was just in this situation where holding the power button after the crash wouldn't shut off my PC; I had to manually flick the PSU switch.

If need be, I'm able to RMA most of my parts since I've kept the receipts/SN + I've only recently bought the parts. Sorry for the long message, but I'd appreciate if anyone could help me out!

I agree that the support isn't always the greatest, and sometimes you get a bad apple, but to be fair they were short staffed the entire pandemic and customer support roles aren't exactly high-competition like, say, engineering (no offense to those working as customer support). It is frustrating when they don't read your email, or don't seem to, but sometimes I wonder if they have a set list of responses that are "approved" and outside of that they're not allowed to say or recommend anything due to liability issues. Because we're too sue-happy here in the US.

My experiences with them have generally been OK, I've reached out a couple times over the years and they were polite and responsive, but it did feel like they were pretty limited in what they could do, their options kind of seem to be to 1. restate the existing documentation, 2. suggest the common "safe" troubleshooting methods (reinstall, reset, etc), and 3. authorize an RMA where applicable. On a limited basis they may supply extra information or at least confirm certain less-clear details, but they don't seem to be equipped to do much outside of that

If they had a better system for handling support, ie a proper chat in addition to email-based communications, or even live phone support, I feel like the support process would feel much smoother to the consumer, but I also know that SS is a fairly small company so doing these things isn't as easy for them.

SteelSeries is also a fraction of the size of Corsair, Razer, Logitech, etc. so hiring the manpower needed to support a live chat infrastructure and actual support besides just the common troubleshooting issues that are common with their products is out of the question for them. It's just the way it is. Tbh though I tend to gravitate towards smaller companies anyways because they tend to have quality that's at least on par with the bigger companies and a team of people that actually care about the user experience and the customers who buy their products. The pandemic has really stretched SteelSeries' already limited support staff to their absolute limits. 2 years ago it would have been possible for an agent to spend extra time helping someone out with a specific issue, but nowadays with the support staff working exclusively from home still due to COVID restrictions that just isn't possible with each agent having to deal with 500-1000 tickets per day. Combine that with shipping and infrastructure issues worldwide and it makes for a bad experience all around

Try resetting the mouse itself. Sounds like the onboard memory might have gotten bugged somehow. First, plug the USB charging cable into your PC, but don't plug the micro-b side into the mouse, leave that unplugged

Hold down the left, right, and CPI (the button directly under the mouse wheel) buttons together

Plug your mouse back in. Continue holding buttons for 5 seconds until the LEDs on the mouse blink.

I did install the SteelSeries GG program and the drivers for the headset trough that program. I get that sometimes, I think it's Engine/GG being glitchy. I unplug and let rest, then plug into a different port, or if a different port isn't available, I restart GG and that seems to help. Sometimes I just don't start GG at all and I've had no problems using it that way either

Hi everyone, i need help with my Arctis 9, it has some issues,

1- It won’t stay on. When i power it on, it stays on for 2-3 seconds and powers off itself even tho it has charge (a week old, always wall charged (well only 2-3 times), indicator lights green, it shows full battery at gg app on pc)
When i plug it in to wall charger, it works..
When i unplug it, it stays working. But when i shut it down, it won’t work. Need to plug it in to charger and start it and unplug..
(At first everything was fine. Do the latest updates both the important and the other when i got the headset. Works fine with my ps5 console via dongle and iphone x via bluetooth)
Tried reset button.

2- Bluetooth won’t connect to any device. Tried on two iphones, pc, ipad.
Tried pressing 6 seconds, longer than 6 seconds, blue light flashing fastly but still no device seen on the list.
Tried reset button.

3- Everything was working correctly at first. Update done. Using on ps5 with dongle and iphone with bluetooth.

A help would very much appreciated. Thanks

If you've already done a factory reset it sounds like something with the firmware itself got screwed up somehow. Theoretically a factory reset should fix an issue like that though. Since it's only a week old you should make a ticket through #official-support and see what they could do and/or request an RMA to get a replacement headset

Well “probably” it all started after i use it on pc with bluetooth. I unpair with iphone and use on pc and some time later when i want to use it with iphone again, it wont connect so i do forgot device on iphone to pair it again, but after that not a single device seen the headset.

After that it started to shut down immediately after turning it on.

I bought it from a worldwide company in my country so i can return the item and order new one but i just want to know if its fixable so that i dont deal with sending it back and receive another one etc..

The lighting effects on my Rival 3 Wireless have stopped working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling GG, but they didn't come back. Tried with new batteries but that didn't work either. Engine won't detect it if you're using it via 3.5mm. It needs to be connected through USB to be detected in engine. For the APW that means it has to be in wireless mode and paired with the base station which should be connected through USB to the PC

Static is a common issue on pro wireless, just how the wireless is. As far as not being recognized make sure the base station is on PC mode and not PS4/PS5, try different USB port, close/open GG, restart computer with it plugged in, and if none of that helps, uninstall/reinstall GG. If you're not happy with it and they're new contact the real support team ( #official-support ) and they might be able to provide a solution or give you a return/RMA

Hello, around 6 - 7 months ago I bought the arctis pro wireless. The shell seemed to have a crack and just came off. Its not broken, it still functions, but the shell does not hold in place for you to wear it.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I DIY fixed it with screws and made sure that it did not hit any wires inside. It eventually just loosened itself and the hole widened. Because it failed, I used epoxy but that also just came off.
Do you guys think I can just replace the shell with a brand new one? or is there another solution to this?

Is anyone else with Arctis Pro having issues with their mic volume set to zero with the latest SteelSeries Engine software? Mic volume is set to zero in Windows and will not let me move it higher. As long as you don't try to resell it you can basically do whatever with it. They intended for you to throw it away or take it to an electronics recycler but if all they had you do was cut the wire and you want to try and replace it then go for it, it's your property

I believe on PC the Surround Sound is processed through DTS:X or Windows Surround software, not directly through the SteelSeries Engine. I would make sure these programs are installed and working (if possible), if I am correct I think you should be able to use them on just about any headset, as they are an OS-wide thing (I could be wrong, don't quote me on this).

I believe some games additionally have their own audio software to simulate surround through a stereo output, so I would also try turning off all other surround sound programs, including any options in Engine, and see if it's any better that way, it's possible the sound is being over-processed and therefore doesn't work as well. It could be that the game is not compatible with the specific surround program your headset its trying to use. I can't say for sure, but maybe worth a shot.

Yes, Sonar works with all audio devices whether they're usb or analog (like the A1)

One you've opted into the beta and see the Sonar tab in GG it should auto detect your audio devices when you open Sonar
