I am absolutely sick of this. I have had steelseries products for the past year and this has been a problem since. I have a macbook pro and its always a gamble whether the steelseries engine will decide to actually turn on or go into an infinite load. I have contacted support and their only suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall. I have uninstalled this software about 10 times now. A fresh install fixes the issue for a week, then goes back to not loading half the time. A simple restart also does not fix anything. I have even factory reset my macbook which did not make the slightest difference.

I am really troubled on what I can do as nothing seems to be working. I can never use my products properly just because of this issue.

I have an issue with my Rival 3 Wireless. My left click will work perfectly fine at first, but a minute into playing & clicking and it begins having issues. It cuts off my hold inputs, reads some taps as holds, and doesn't read some clicks. If i keep using it, it eventually stops reading left clicks altogether. However, when i give it a minute it goes back to working as normal. My mouse is relatively new, first used it 8 months ago. This issue started when i put my mouse in my school backpack and left it there for a few days as i went to school, i suspect the left click sensor got damaged while in there.

This doesn't seem to be a problem with the computer either, i tried it on my main computer and chromebook and both give the same issue.

temp solution was uninstall and install only engine 3.20, turn off autoupdate. works fine with old software, except some options require the new software to be installed. but at leased the its loading the gear section and show what i have... gg didnt work for sht.

When i plug my Arctis 5 into a dedicated USB 3.0 (or even 2.0) port, i have no issues and the Game and Chat functions work together perfectly as they are supposed to. But when I plug them into a USB 3.0 Hub (connected to either a 2.0 or 3.0 port) then they struggle to work together, and they refuse to work together, and fixing one problem creates another (Whether it be with the Chatmix or the Microphone). Is this a known issue? I would really like to be able to keep it plugged into the Hub

Switch the chat quality to CD and leave Game at DVD quality and it should work fine that way, at least that's the fix I used for my Arctis 5 that had a similar issue. Pretty sure it's just a case of the hub not being able to provide enough power or bandwidth to run both audio sources at their highest quality simultaneously

You mean the connection type? 2.4ghz will always have lower latency than Bluetooth, but simulation Bluetooth just means you can be playing a game on your PC and have the headset connected via Bluetooth to your phone at the same time

That's not what I am talking about, There are two types of sound on the Arctis 5's, one called Game and one called Chat, in the setup manual it says Game has to be the one you use but it doesn't work so I have to use chat.

When I play a game such as GTA 5 I can't hear anything on either sound outputs

So I just got the aerox 3 wireless, and on my desktop it works fine, but if I plug the dongle in into my laptop, I keep hearing the disconnect sound and then the connect sound again from windows while the mouse isn't connecting. If I use the usb c cable with the extension adapter however it does connect, is there something wrong with my pc's usb c port? Because my usb hub over usb c does work.

The only things that i can think of causing that are things like the "listen" (on the proprieties tab of both the outputs to the headset and the microphone input) and stereo mix. If those are off im clueless otherwise.

my friend said the Dac goes into the pc, but youtube says the Dac goes into the PS5. There's also nowhere to plug in the optical cord as i'm using a monitor not a TV.

i just don't want audio lag. When i originally streamed MLB the show, i had used a graphics card and everything was fine. there was just a lag in the audio. i.e. when the bat contacts the ball, contact is made, and 3 seconds later you HEAR the contact.

Use the 3.5mm adaptor (cable 3) to connect your arctis 1's to the GameDAC. Connect the GameDAC to your PC or PS5 using the USB connection (cable 1). You should not have lag from the audio.

Headphones should go in the side (connector 11)

Your best option is use the gameDAC via USB into the PS5. use the splitter cable (number 3) and use the gameDAC 3.5mm adaptor the connect the headphone side of the spitter into the GameDAC. Then, on the other end of this splitter you should have the microphone input. Connect this to your PC.

Not that one no. How are the keycaps dirty? if its just the top, you should be able to wipe them clean. The sides can also be cleaned with it on the keyboard, its just more time consuming

Removing keycaps is a last resort for me. Its a 3-4 hour job to remove, clean, dry and replace all my keycaps.

Man ive had so many issues with the SteelSeries GG software in the past few days. just picked up the Apex 7 keyboard, and at first the software would just load infinitely and not open. I finally got it to work, and then now after everytime i restart/turn on turn off my computer, i have to unplug my keyboard to open the software or else itll just load infinitely

Maybe its cus im on mac os, because i tried it on my buddys windows pc and i had no problems with the software

Hello guys,

I just bought an arctis pro wireless but I notice a white noise, very audible when there is no sound played. I tried connecting the dac to optical, disabling the 2.4GHz wifi but same result.
By activating the volume limiter the noise is attenuated but still there.

I could see that I was not the only one, is it a defective batch because no test shows this noise? Or is it a manufacturing defect?

My arctis 5 headset seems to keep repeating two noises. One sounds like beeping and the other sounds like wind coming through someone elses mic even when I am alone. I could just be on desktop and it would make noises like this. The EQ settings in Engine only apply to the Game profile. However, SteelSeries is coming out with some new software and planning a beta test sometime in the near future for a brand new EQ with more control over the sound and the ability to set custom EQs for both Game and Chat outputs

Is it plugged into a headset/combo jack and not just a headphone jack? It needs to be plugged into a combination jack if you want the mic to work, or if you have separate headset and mic jacks you'll need to use a splitter cable to fill both ports

no its not actual wind but it sounds like wind if that makes sense. you know when you record a video on a windy day, thats what I hear along with beeping. it comes and gos it isn tpermanent. it only happens in certain positions with the wire too so I think it may just be the wire

Well chances are the jack in the speakers isn't a combo jack so you need to either plug in into the front panel audio connectors on your PC case or into your motherboard's audio and mic ports

To make a proper determination id need: a video of the keyboard and how it is acting, and a screenshot of your configuration of the apex pro "illumination" tab in engine. Sounds like a possible hardware failure and you might need to RMA.

I updated the firmware yesterday - my left earphone stopped working and I have a feedback loop from my MIC to my right earphone that continues in spite of setting MIC sidetone to off.
