EDIT2: Reinstalling Drivers and Software. After that it was working again.

Just open a case and be patient, I believe if you keep opening tickets it sends you to the back of the queue

that is something I would have guessed myself tbh, i meant if there are any not so well known tricks besides being honest and friendly to get a good result in the end. (in my experience from other RMA processes, always being friendly is a really good strategy for fast results already)

The main thing I have to ask is if DTS HeadphoneX requires audio enhancements, and if it does, and I activate them, I don't hear anything.

Plus, when I enable audio enhancements, there seems to be a noticeable delay in the audio.

Hey so I got a Arctis Wireless 7 a few days ago and everything was fine, although the audio mixer on the left thats suppose to be able to turn down game and voice up, or vice versa, seems to turn down everything now?

Hey y'all, got a weird problem with my headset. I've been using it for months now with no problem, but a couple days ago I updated the firmware for my Arctis Pro Wireless, and now I don't have "game" and "chat" channels. It's just one channel, and everything seems to be going through the voice channel. If I use the game - voice equalizer, turning towards game removes all volume, and turning towards chat brings it all back.

Windows update deleted my Arctis 7 wireless drivers, it not longer shows up in the menus to choose as an audio device. Uninstalled Engine which led me to download GG, GG has no place to add a device and resyncing the headset to the receiver isn't returning any results that its been connected. If i manually plug in the headset via a usb, it shows up under gear, but as not connected.

Hello i dont known is this is software or hardware problem but if i have Lol gamesense set to ON when i enter a game my mouse is disconnect from PC i must plug off dongle from pc and plug in again then mouse will work. the same is when a leave the game.

Plug out and plug in not always help.

I see simillar behavior when i disable or enable a "high-effiency mode" my mouse get disconnected and dont can connect if i plug out wait minutes or 3 its work again.

Sounds like same problems I have with my Syberia 650s ever since they released Engine 3 they always show as "disconnected", can't control RBG anymore, etc.
GG is worse, since they aren't even recognised as 650s but as a completely different headset.
At least they still sound good even without the soundcard being recognised, and mic works but its just so bad.

But it's not motivating to realize people are having the EXACT SAME ISSUE with a newer headset, that even has its own DAC and theoretically shouldn't even need Engine3 or GG to run

Originally got to using SteelSeries products because you know, no Synapse to worry about.
Back then it was still Engine 2, very light weight, not very required.
Ever since engine 3 I've had nothing but issues, was hoping its just older gear and SS intentionally no longer supporting that on Engine 3/ GG.
Sounds like its just a business model - lack of care.

I need help figuring out why some of my Keyboard LEDs aren’t working. (Apex 5)

Blue - Middle Row is off along with Right Alt
Purple - Middle Row is Red along with Right Alt
White - Middle row is a yellow color, along with right alt
Yellow - the right Alt key is slightly off
Red, Green and Orange - not having this issue

On all of the colors, right alt flickers a small bit.
On all colors, the LED for enter, right shift, F12, =+, ]}, |, and PRT SCN are off completely.

I tried factory resetting, did not work.

The keyboard itself works, but those are the issues I’m having with the LEDs.

There is a hardware reset switch under the cushion on the left ear cup (side with the mic). It is a pinhole so it will require a paperclip or pin to press. Press it and hold it down for ~1 second.

I have a Steelseries Apex m750 (model 64677) and, starting tuesday, my left shift, left control, caps lock, tab, tilde, and the number 1 key stopped working. originally, i could run an older version of the steelseries engine to regain functionality for around an hour. After contacting steelseries support, i was advised to uninstall and reinstall the steelseries engine as well as all the drivers and now I am stuck with the same keys not functioning but I no longer have the ability to work around it. Any ideas?

I have a support ticket open with steelseries but, with the 1-2 day response time, i'd like to find some other methods of fixing it if possible.

I have an M750 TKL and it works fine with GG. It's possible your LEDs are just finally giving out after all this time, depending on how long you've had the board, obviously. I've been using mine for over three years now and it's still working great

nah it's not LEDs. the keys themselves are not working and I believe it's firmware related, the keyboard is just over a year old so it's like 3-4 months out of warranty :/

Damn that's weird. Since they don't make that board anymore there's probably not much they're going to be able to do, and aside from general troubleshooting stuff which you've probably already tried your best bet is to just wait for a ticket response

For me the solution was to turn the volume limited ON in the engine. I play it with the PS5. And the white noise was gone. And the volume was still good for me.

Hi there, I got a problem with my Artics 5 Headset. The headset doesn't seeem to listen to Steelseries Engine 3. (Neither to GG) I found out after a lot of reinstalls of the engine that this stops working as soon as I install the extra software required that shows up when plugging in the headset. I tried reinstalling the engine, reinstalling the engine and all drivers, switching to GG. Nothing seems to work and everytime this problem occurs after installing the extra software. One thing I noticed is that when I turn on PrismSync, the lights change on the headset just like my keyboard. After turning it off tho there is no way to revert to the old lightning pattern except replugging. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Getting really tired of being stuck in my movie profile.

As far as I remember the only thing that came with my headset cable wise was the thing that allowed the headset to be wireless, and a usb to charge it. Both are plugged in, i am still receiving an error

thats the most common things, unfortunately with rgb keyboards especially, they can get very sensitive. i did an rma on my apex 3 and it worked great and i've used the new one ever since

the thing is.. I'm almost entirely certain this isn't hardware or software related, it's definitely firmware. It persists on multiple computers but I could originally get it working for around an hour by running an older version of the steelseries engine, which I've since been instructed to uninstall so I no longer have that ability.

you can still reinstall it im sure one thing you could try is doing the system reset but while holding down the keys that dont function (maybe with a phone or something) cause that worked for someone else and they regained full access

there isn't, I've already had this keyboard taken apart to confirm it's not a hardware issue (switches are receiving and sending proper voltage) and there were no buttons or even any solder joints besides for the keys and controller itself.

At this point, if I can't get some sort of firmware reflash tool from their support team I'm prob just gonna go get a corsair or hyperx keyboard. I've had flawless experiences with both of them.

yes you were meant to, the process isnt immediate and the agents themselves are the ones checking, not a bot or automated system. it may take a bit longer with a process like rma given how many there are but if you provided all info as asked for, then you should get a confirmation within 2 days and the code within another 2

Anyone have the Arctis 1 Wired/Wireless and have issues with the audio bleeding into the microphone line (even with the microphone muted) while wired. I can’t tell if it’s an issue with the headphones or with TRRS jacks (3 ring jack with audio and mic). I just returned a headphone with a TRRS jack because of this problem and got the Arctis 1 Wireless. I had a feeling that wireless would not have this problem because of no need for the TRRS jack but I tested it wired and it has the same problem. My friend has the wired version an I can hear the videos he watches. I’ve tested it on the front/back ports on my computer using 2 different splitters to split the TRRS into TRS audio and mic jacks. The splitter is not the problem nor my computer because I used the TRRS wire provided with the headset into my PS5 controller and my PS5 is also detecting audio through my mic with my mic muted. My mic is actually muted and doesn’t pick up sound even if blow into it. If anyone else is using a TRRS (3 ring) jack and has this similar problem or doesn’t let me know
