Yes you can use a separate mic. I believe the Arctis 9 has the longest battery at 20-24 hours or somewhere in that range

hey i have a steelseries arctis 7 and i have a problem with charging
i plug it in but then it only shows the pulsating red light for a few seconds before turning off
and then whenever i charge it overnight it still shows as very low battery
I have the Arctis Pro + GameDac and last night i noticed it sounds like there is a piece of plastic on the inside of the right speaker casing that has come loose. Every time I turn my head i can hear it moving around inside the casing. Any suggestions?

I own the Arctis 7 Bluetooth, for some odd reason, I can no longer hear surround sound. Ingame or youtube videos I cant tell left to right. I have 7.1 turned on in the steelseries engine and have already tried factory resetting it included reinstalling the drivers for it. This is the second time its happened to me and I still dont know why its not working. Anyone able to help?
Hey can someone help. I’m using the arctis pro wirless and to me the sound feels likes it’s escaping and an echo kind of feel. Surround sound is off and equalizer is at default but It doesn’t feel as good as my hyper x. Which is pretty sad for 330 bucks

There WAS some concern over the pro wireless and stock, but they said if anything it was expected to be cleared mid march.

Hey guys, I purchased the Arctis Pro Wireless from Amazon.
I first plugged the base into my mac which I use for work, connected the headset, installed SteelSeries engine, updated firmware, re-paired the headset and it seemed to work fine enough so I switched over to my Win10 PC. I plugged in the base, installed the engine, updated the device drivers, re-paired. Now this is where the problems started… At first the “Game” audio source would not play any audio regardless of the chatmix setting and changes made to settings using the engine app would only save once (ex: turned on sidetone but could not turn off, turned off volume limiter but could not turn it back on). I restarted my PC and heard the connecting device sound followed by the failed connection sound, (I hear these everytime I restart with the station plugged in) now the microphone wouldn’t work but both “Game” and “Chat” audio worked. I replugged the station and both my keyboard and mouse stopped working, at first I was concerned about my motherboard because the other devices plugged in to the nearby USB slots were impacted by it but these issues don't happen unless the station is plugged in. I spent hours doing fresh reinstalls removing drivers and engine to no avail. There were times where plugging in the station would cause my mouse to freeze until I replugged my mouse, another time the station d/c'd from windows (still had power via USB and headset still connected) while I was testing the mic.
After fighting with it for 3 or so hours I found that the headset worked more consistently while plugged into USB 3.0 slots as opposed to USB 2.0 slots however the same device connect failure windows sound plays on restart. I have assumed the one I got was defective and requested a replacement from Amazon. While I wait for the replacement to come is there any advice you guys have for me that I can compile now if the same issues happen? (My windows 10 is up to date)

I have other earphones plugged into the GameDac along with the Arctis Pros, and I can't control their volume with the Dac. Is it because I have the output on Hi-Res and since the earphones aren't Hi-Res they don't work with that output?

Yes. You have 60 days from the time the code is issued to you to use it on your replacement product. If the product doesn't come in stock by the end of the 60 days you should be able to message your support ticket again and see if they can get you a fresh code, although everything should come in stock before the end of the 60 days

#official-support #archive-user-support The new firmware update on Arctis Pro Wireless enabled a new feature on output device. thats splits up Arctis Pro Wireless Game and Arctis Pro Wireless Chat into 2 different output channels.
Have someone more than me the problem that the sound when you are on Game output are completely destroyed the bass line in the headset sounds like budget speaker from the 1940s.. really bad quality on the sound.
Think this is a software problem and not. a hardware problem due to when i switch to Chat it's normal again.
Have not verified if the problem are on Windows too. have only noticed this problem on Mac will test later on on my Gaming PC.

Yes…. I think it’s better. You have the DTS back. And you can use the chatmix again straight from the headset again. Only you don’t have the 3D audio from the PS5 anymore. But for me that is not a issue at all. I don’t like the 3D audio. It sounds more like a fancy stereo audio if you ask me. Make shore you set only your settings right. The usb for chat. And the sound output (in the PS5 menu) on usb-headset. And hdmi-type on AV. Channels on 5.1. Output to headset select chataudio, not all audio. And on the bottom select Dolby. And in your audio dac select PS4. Those settings sound for me perfect. And much better then when you only use the usb and go for the 3D PS5 audio.

Issues are very niche.....mostly when you are connected via bluetooth, it switch off unexpectedly when you are 80+ or <20% charge

Well it doesn’t matter really what extrector you have. Just make sure it can play 4K 60hz. For most extractors is that the max they can show at the moment. Maybe there is also a 4K 120hz extractor but i bet it will cost a lot more. So i have just a 4K 60hz extractor. LOL. For most games it is good. Warzone for an exempel is also just 60hz. But Cold War is 120hz. If i want to play in 120hz then i switch over to just usb. And select all audio. And in the dac i switch to PS5. And unfortunaly i switch to 3D audio from PS5. But that is ONLY when i play a game in 4K 120Hz. By the way….. i don’t use a extractor but i have my optical direct from my tv. If your tv also do have a optical out. I will recommend also use that. It let you switch much easy and save your money. 😉. (Sorry for my bad english by the way. Im from holland lol)

can anyone help? I recently bought an arctis 1 to play on my ps4 and everytime I play it annoys me so much because the volume is always louder on the right side of the headphone. can anyone help me fix this please?
I bought my headphones in January and have been so happy with them, arctis pro wireless. Last night I ran a firmware update for the first time (the PS5 one) and during the update my headset disconnected and I don't think the update completed. Now, my headset will not pair at all, I've tried everything, whilst connected to PC, with the GAME DAC connected with the power only cable, I've tried connecting to a separate laptop that I own. Something gets recognised when I plug the headset in by USB cable but it doesn't show as an available headset in windows and shows reconnect in the steelseries software. On Checking Reddit I found several posts of people having the same issue but in the past couple of years.
I have checked and triple checked by watching youtube videos to confirm I am pairing it correctly. Have also performed a reset on the DAC :/
I have raised a support ticket but wondering if anybody else has reported similar issues. I'm gutted.
did you use the pairing option in the settings to pair the headset again?
on the DAC box, yes. Hold volume button for 6 seconds, it beeps. then click next, it says pairing and then fails. Tried clicking next, then holding for 6 seconds, it still fails.

They were allegedly having issues with the spotify app, It just didn't work so well I guess
Doesn't really matter, there are plenty of third party apps to do the same anyway
so recently like 2 days ago? i updated my software for my steelseries rival 600. i generally play mc and pvp alot so i butterfly click alot. I installed the software called xmouse control or something. it kinda tweaks my mouse a bit with like debounce and stuff cause I couldn't actually change the debounce of the rival 600, I couldn't found the debounce setting anywhere. So I did that. And after that i was getting about, 14-18 cps consistantly. But then after i updated my steelseries software, cps dropped down to like 8-12 cps consistantly. I tried tweaking the control panel mouse settings, xmouse software settings, and also the steelseries software itself. But after like an hour of just tweaking, retrying and stuff like that the cps wouldn't budge. And even if i try drag clicking before I would get like 20 cps easily. Now i can't even get 5. I think the problem was cause i might've updated the software at a point where they implimented a built in debounce timer or something and thats why the butterflying and drag clicking didn't work. But I'm not actually sure on what I did wrong. My mouse control panel settings turned the double clicking slider to the highest so thats that. As i said before, I tried tweaking the debounce setting and other stuff in the xmouse software. And i tried searching for help. I got an account on the steelseries platform to see if that would do anything. I tried to get help from the support team but they got an answer I didn't want. The steelseries app lets you update firmware and enable the 3d audio, to get your mic to work for me on discord mobile i disabled auto sensitivity as it wasnt detecting my mic when i joined a voice chat

GG is SteelSeries new beta software that includes both the original SteelSeries Engine and their new Moments gameplay clipping software into a single program
When it gets out of beta it'll replace the original SSE software
It's possible. Just make sure you uninstall the old engine before installing GG @tender rapids
@tender rapids open the device manager in windows, click on "Sound, video and game controllers", select "Arctis 5 Game", right click, select "uninstall device", do the same for "Arctis 5 Chat" then unplug the USB from your PC, shut it down (not restart), plug the USB back in, turn the PC back on and try the software again. If you're still having problems then open a ticket through #official-support

I found a lot of info on reddit, already "restored" the firmware, but the mandatory firmware update afterwards, is stuck forever on the old version of engine, completes "successfully" on the new version of engine but actually does not update anything, pairing is still not possible. any advice?

Your problem is static over your headphones while using them while you are charging? I used to have that issue but I don’t remember how I solved it. Sorry I don’t normally need to charge the head phones while using them because I only use them a couple of hours a day

I would suggest shut down Discord completely, turn off and unplug the headphones, hook it up again then restart discord, if that doesn't work reset your audio settings in discord

If you are running the software you have the latest drivers, the only other thing I can suggest is check your windows settings sometimes widows doesn't automatically switch the input and output when you plug your headphones in

When you have the configuration drop down open, just keep scrolling down and you'll be able to see all of the options. It's a weird UI bug with GG that some people experience after an update

After doing some research i found that
the audio drivers on Windows 10 aren’t properly compatible with a USB microphone. Thus, the microphone levels are incredibly low. This problem applies to any USB microphone that uses the Windows driver. Mics that use their own drivers are immune to this issue.
I found that when looking in my computer that the microphone drivers are from.... microsoft and not steelseries
the microsoft drivers installer are version: 10.0.19041.789
anyone can confirm that steelseries are using basic microsoft drivers and not their own so i can return this headset to amazon and get a refund ?

Omnipoints are basically reds, but with variable actuation. So linear, not clicky or tactile.

The LEDs are positioned at the top of the keys so for the function keys and special character keys the symbols near the bottom will appear a bit dimmer

Hi, I've been trying to get SteelSeries Engine 3 to detect my SteelSeries built-in keyboard within msi laptop, but could not get it to be detected for the life of me. keyboard works just fine, it just can't seem to get detected by SSE 3.
For clarification, the laptop is an msi gl63 8rd-210us and the built-in keyboard (from what I was able to find and from what I could tell) is nameless; however, it is built by SteelSeries based on the sticker the laptop has, along with the other stickers. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also, I already tried a) uninstalling the driver then restarting, b) attempting to update the driver then restarting, and c) uninstalling and reinstalling SSE 3 then restarting.
Again, any help is appreciated.

Hi, I bought a Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless few months ago. And it was working very well... Until the audio just keeps dropping. I installed Engine 3 and did a software update thinking it would solve the problem but after sometimes the problem came back.
When the problem occurs the headset gradually lower the sound to 0 then randomly the sound comes back...
