I got my steelseries arctis pro wireless, and i'm really disappointed. I really hope that there is an issue here, because the sound quality is worse than my hyperx cloud 2 which i've had for like 2 years now. The mic is also not great, my cloud 2s mic is more clear. On top of that, there's a slight buzzing noise constantly which annoys me. Am i doing something wrong here? or are wireless headsets just that much worse?

@slate gorge 5,7,(and I think) 9, have similar mics, with 7 (and 9) being wireless it'll be a bit worse in quality than 5 (which is usb).
Having a 5, I find the mic above average for headset. However, the wireless function of the Arctis 7 may cause the mic to drop in quality, how so, I cannot answer.

Headset transmitter is pretty much screwed because they sent me the wrong drivers which were for the Arctis 7 even though my very first comment to them I mentioned I had an Arctis 7p.

Android see it but seem blocking the inputs. Gamepad test app see it too, but not sure why android is sticking to empty .KL

Vendor_1038_Product_1412.kl is correct file it should be using but android is forcing the assignment onto Vendor_045e_Product_02fd.html

There shouldn't be a difference in the model numbers. That just basically specifies in when was made (At least I'm pretty sure). I do know that the model number won't matter. If you're looking at a different model completely (Like the Apex 7, Apex 5, etc.), then that would matter.

FYI for anyone having combability issues with Arctis Wireless Pro and the Xbox Series X, SteelSeries support pretty much told me it's a Microsoft issue and Microsoft support told me that an announcement should be made in the coming days on potential workarounds for this issue

Literally just waiting. Each support person has hundreds of tickets to go through every day, and with everyone at SteelSeries working from home it can take a lot longer to find solutions to people's problems than normal. That's exactly why there is a warning on the support page saying it may take a long time to get your issue fully resolved.

So my 3070 hasnt came yet so i put a shitty geforce g100💀 in my pc to download the drivers and games already well it worked for an hour then i updated windows and then every time i boot and reach the windows login screen it shuts down after like 5 seconds and its prolly the gpu since i took it out booted the system and it stayed on all the time but tf do i do to fix it ;-:

@teal spear as long as the board is under warranty then you should just be able to submit a ticket, describe the issue, then get the RMA process started

I'm not entirely sure how the RMA process works for keyboards, but I know you have to destroy the headsets to get the RMA going so you probably have to do something similar for the boards as well, but that would be something to specifically as the support agent

i got it off of amazon a few months ago, well after the return window of amazon

As long as you have proof of purchase all SteelSeries products have a standard one year warranty

Even if the board was still within the 30 day return window for Amazon, they wouldn't be the ones handling the RMA in the first place

As long as you bought the board within the last 12 months and have proof of purchase you can make a support ticket and probably get an RMA

Im a bit confused and maybe someone could help me. I’m using arctis pro wireless headset on ps5, and despite claims that upcoming firmware update which add ps5 preset is only “optional” and not necessary, lots of thing do not work on ps5 for me. Chat mix doesn’t work, blog on website said: How can I adjust ChatMix for my Arctis on PS5?
The PS5 has a built-in adjustment for balancing game and chat audio, which you can access from your controller:

Press the PS button to bring up the quick menu
Sound -> Voice chat balance

This option is always greyed out for me
