I just came home from buying a Aerox 5 Wireless, i connected the usb-c dongle to my usb-c port on my laptop. I installed GG software and it said that the mouse needed an emergency update. It updated and now ive used it for a little while. But in my game i have auto run on Mouse button 3 and lo and behold... it doesnt work. Mousebutton 3 (under scroll wheel) is dead... 😦 Is it anything i can try before i go and RMA it?

I bought a new APEX 7 keyboard. Sadly the OLED menu button does not work. It neither controlls any media (start/pause, skip) nor can I enter the OLED menu by pressing the button for 4 secods. So the button does literally nothing. This way I cannot even try a reset.
GG Software was reinstalled. Even tried the keyboard on different computers.

Hey everybody, I'm trying to configure the SteelSeries example of walk/run dual actuation but can't find any good tutorials on it because the primary actuation doesn't stay pressed when the secondary actuation activates. Auto-repeat while pressed isn't the same as holding and there's only a 'toggle hold' option. Basically I can't quite figure out what combination of settings I need to set on the primary/secondary keybinds

I have a question about the Arctis Nova 3

The C to C cable is only 1.2 meters so I can't sit normally at all. So I saw there was a USB C to USB A cable which could help make it longer but I couldnt find anywhere if it causes decreased audio quality.

If it does cause that is it possible to just buy a C to C cable or would that also cause decreased quality?

Make sure all the connections are plugged in all the way and correctly, sometimes some USB/USB-C ports get finicky so you can try and flip the usbc on try another usb port on the pc just to eliminate any connections issue. If it’s actual hardware malfunction you will probably need to open a ticket on their website via the chat function.

The nova pro wireless will only work wirelessly with the base station that came in the box. A reciever meant for another headset (like the Nova 7 reciever) won't work

Right so I’m back again with another rant. Last time it was my headset with issues and now my friend has issues with his arctis 9 headset WHAT ARE THE ODDS? or maybe steelseries just made a garbage product? We both owned the headset for like 6 months and my headset won’t connect to pc on startup and my friends headset somehow had the button falling off the circuit board without ever even dropping the headset and steelseries won’t RMA either of our headsets cus we don’t have a receipt. Just look at this? How are we supposed to spend like 200€ each on a headset that barely lasts half a year and if I wanna repair his headset I need some micro soldering tool which no normal person has. My only advice is to never buy this garbage product ever

I have a Rival 3 Wireless that keeps shutting off when it is connected to the 2.4G. I am using it on a Mac mini and it works fine when using the bluetooth connection. The steelseries software has nothing on it for drivers or updates, and i don't know what else to do.

@edgy flickersome programs are more cpu intensive than other cpu gen can play a part as some apps are geared towards newer cpu types or gens than others or even chipset coding but my bet windows try this access bios set oprtimized defaults save and reboot windows then search and use disk cleanup to clear any temp files ccleaner for windows 10 to sort any registry problems

Last night I tried to get bluetooth working on my Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, and I did it, but when I tried to turn it off I think I did something. Now, when its connected to my pc using 2.4GHz, the game/chat mixer doesn't do anything. I've tried repairing my headset but it did nothing.

Hey, I just switched from the arctis 7 to the 7+ and I'm having some issues

I have sound devices set up correctly as far as I can tell but it's not changing chat volume

If I slide chatmix all the way to chat, it mutes the rest, but if I do the opposite I can still hear chat at regular volume

Hello, I have a problem with my steelseries arctis pro + gamedac. Ever since I bought them when I would turn on my computer it would not detect the game output, only the chat output. However I found that I could easily switch to hi-res, then back to pc and it would finally detect it, so I decided to leave them like that.
Recently, I changed my pc and the headphones started weirder. Now it happens a lot more, I do my usual trick, it detects the game output and after a few minutes it loses it again. Sometimes, out of the blue, the headphones will just shut down waiting to be plugged out and back in. Also, when I switch to hi-res, they keep shutting down and turning back on in an endless cycle until I plug them out and back in so I can change back to pc on the gamedac.

I uninstalled steelseries gg client and reinstalled it and the headphones were apparently requiring an update (they were the only product that did require an update after the reinstallation of the client).

I don't know if that did fix it so I will go test it and keep you updated. However does anybody have suggestions for this problem? The internet didn't help that much.

Alright, so it didn't take much testing, all the problems are still there and it happened instantly as I clicked on a video. I tested for both the hi-res and the pc outputs.
Also, when the headset shut down and turned back on, it triggered a reaction in my keyboard (steelseries apex pro) to do the same and until I plugged it out and back in, it couldn't detect my key presses.

I suspect that discord might play a role in this problem but I am not so sure.

@carmine ice @uncut roost I think there's some confusion here. Yes, the headset should work while charging. If you want to use the headset while charging, you should have the USB-C dongle plugged in and the headset turned on, while also charging over USB.

The 3.5mm is a different cable and should only be used if you can't use the dongle. Plugging in the 3.5mm cable will cause your headset to not work wirelessly, since it's assuming all audio will come over the 3.5mm connection.

Have there been any issues with controlling the RGB lighting for the Arena 9 speaker system? I can't turn off the lighting or even change the color or effects. I tried via SteelSeries GG as well as the Pod and neither works for the RGB. The only way to turn off the lightning is to force quit the SteelSeries GG engine.

Hm ok, so I just did a sound test through windows and I hear sounds from all speakers, however when I go to the next screen after doing the test, when you click on an individual speaker to check the sound, when you click on the front speaker to test it also comes out of the rear speaker. I also can't check off the Rear pair option. So maybe windows is seeing them as front left and right instead of rear?

So when i listen to music. I am that kind of guy who loves hardstyle. And i am using the sonar settings. BUT when on the mixer the bars get up to yellow. It makes very annoying vibrations. any fix or is that just how it is?

It's a bit strange but for some reason my headset (Arctis Pro Wireless) will slowly lower the audio of quiet music or any kind of audio for that matter that tends to be played at a lower volume until I can no longer hear it at all. Then randomly it will spike back up in audio whenever say for example someone says something on the twitch stream I was watching. I've been dealing with this issue for over like 8 months, I figured it would have been solved by SteelSeries GG Sonar, but it didn't fix it sadly. I have looked and looked all over the place to try to fix this issue and could never find a fix. If anyone knows a fix please share, I would be very grateful.

Anyone having issues with wireless nova pro picking up unwanted radio signals?
Have a signal coming through that is very annoying. Turning headset volume down makes it go away, but will make everything else way too quiet.
Turning volume down via windows does nothing to that signal.

Never had this issue with Arctis Pro Wireless.

Might need ferrite choke or better quality 3.5mm cable

Can anyone help me with the scam of a company this is @lean comet @woeful loom @shut sleet @bleak jetty @clear sonnet ? I have had an issue with my ARCTICS PRO headset since purchase because the Chatmix doesnt work. I tried multiple tickets and after a month of going forward and back with no success i try to buy the GAMEDAC which is very expensive to see if that will help. This only resulted in more issues. If i open a game or discord or any platform the GameDAC freaks out and turns on and off repeated. Ive tried making tickets about these issues and its people over a course of a month saying stuff like have you tried to unplug it and plug it back in. Which does fix the issue until I open discord or something else again.

Also, the APEX PRO had an issue with an RGB 6 months in. Love the quality of these items. They sent me a new one but what you love to see is that the warranty does not start again it is actually continuing from the first keyboard. 6 months later another RGB broke and I have no warranty. Now I have multiple broken RGBs. Great keyboard. TERRRRIBLEEE RGB and the worst customer support again

And here comes the mouse, wow ive never heard of a mouse that you have to replace parts semiannually. I warn all from buying a mouse like the Rival 600 that has rubber on the sides. With some usage the glue melts off and you have a huge mess that can not be fixed obviously and SteelSeries has the best solution to this. Wait for it... Buy the side panels. The call them "Accessories" almost like that are premium items. I have already bought 3 sets of these side panels because I did not want to buy another mouse yet. Well Now the scroll wheel decided to give up on me..

I have a ticket still open to try to fix this GameDAC and headset issue and SteelSeries support and closed my account. I do forget password and with a new password i still cant access it. Instead of fixing my product they will just silence me

The headset problem sounds somewhat similar to mine. What fixed it for me was a factory reset for the gamedac and I set USA instead of Europe when it asks of your region. If you choose europe it will limit the volume through the software and I think that might play a role in it.

The keyboard, idk, I had the same one for over an year now and its still aight

The rival 600 is just intentional and smart. Thats why they sell those glue pieces separately.

I just did the reinstall like you advised but It seems that I can not downgrade the Firmware. I got the notification that i do not have the correct firmware version (the newer one) and I now should downgrade to the one of the GG Version that I have. That is what I want. but if I press the button to install the firmware nothing happens. and I still don't see any options to turn the Screen off
