see this by @uncut roost it will probably help: uninstall gg yes uninstall to do this goto search type control panel enter control panel top right if it says catagory drop it down and select large icons this will show the proper control panel apps then scrollto find and click "programs and features" then in the window scroll until you find steelseries and highlight and click uninstall then click back until your in control panel again and click "explorer file and folder options" then select "show hidden files, folders and drives" click apply and ok close goto c drive and delete steelseries from "programfiles" and " programfiles (x86) " and "programdat" unplug your device reboot and before you plug back into a different port install gg login to your account plug your device back in and activate sonar ....... it should then work proper

Anyone having audio set up issues, there’s a pinned guide that can at least give you a starting point to make sure everything is set up right. You can access it by clicking on the channel name and going to “Pins”

If you’re still having issues after setting up correctly according to the guide then you can unplug the USB headset from the PC for 10-20 secs and then plug into a brand new USB port you haven’t used before with that heaset. If that doesn’t work then a clean uninstall and reinstall and you can see my comment a few posts up where I copied @uncut roost’s suggestion for the clean install

I can’t think of another settings that would cause issues with the mic on discord. but you may need to open a ticket or Google that issue with discord specifically

are you using it via usb or auxiliary

hold down [WINDOWS KEY + R] and type in "mmsys.cpl" no quotes. Go to the [Playback] tab and make sure it is set as default audio device. since itunes probably doesnt have a way to specify which audio output you want, you have to do it in windows this way.

Hello, I have a problem with the Steelseries GG program, it randomly crashes every now and then, then all my settings are gone, and I have to restart the Steelseries GG program and plug and unplug my headset for it to work normally again. Hi everyone!👋 I wish to share my experience in solving problem with my keyboard (Apex Pro TKL WL (2023)). Once I have written about problem, in short – bought, connected, installed (with CRITICAL firmware installing error) and after some time it start blinking and, in some seconds, starts thousand applications on my computer… about result it’s not necessary to explain. How I understand it is because creates new keyboard profiles with crazy macros.
So, support… sorry for that… - pain in the ass. First thing is that you want to solve problem because you don’t understand what to do… sand back and ask for money back or it is some kind of … lets call it my hands can grow from wrong place… sometimes. But support has some kind of standard texts (looks like – copy/paste), which kills a lot of time.
Second thing – I’m in Europe and how I understand support is in about 8-12 hours difference with me… it means that if I have question in 17.11. then I will receive my answer 18.11. (Sometimes two-three days).
In the end support doesn’t tell me anything for one weak (ticket is open).
But it all was lyric… So, what I get from support it is instruction how to RESET to factories my keyboard 😆 … and how to uninstall GG and my drivers… last one was good thing to understand that my hands grow from right place. But problem wasn’t solved.
And then I found problem – there are two users on my computer (Windows) and if I install everything on my user account it works till moment when I start using second user account. I tested this for many times, but yes, it is so… last thing that I have done was – second user account disabling. For 4 days there were no bugs.
I think this not good that this bug exists… and maybe someone will get something good from my experience.

Yes, unplug the usb from the PC for 10-20 secs and then replug. It’s a glitch after an update that causes the chatmix to glitch as well as the device fallback feature

Is Sonar without Spatial Audio "Stereo"? On PC it's not letting me use any other spatial audio like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X., the option is greyed out, when using Sonar. If using Engine, then the spatial audio options are available. I am using an Arctis Pro Wireless.

I've got an issue that only occurred recently (not patch 27.0) my Sonar has been working perfectly for months and when I went to play games 2-3 days ago and had no game sound at all, made sure all drivers were up to date and engine was up to date ect - after playing around for some time I've worked out that I can only play game sound through the chat setting and not game mode - this removes all sonar benefits. I can't play any FPS as all the sound seems to be stereo and the sound quality is terrible. i believe most SS mice will auto-calibrate when it's turned on, but there's nothing you can control as a user. only like two SS mice have the ability to change lift-off distance (I think it's the prime+ and the rival 650?)

Hi, I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to 11 around the same time as 27.0 steelseries and my PC keeps loosing all It's audio devices. I was advised to clean re install steelseries and see what happens but I've been stuck on this loading screen since the reinstall. I'm pretty bad with tech stuff so any advise would be appreciated

If you're trying to recreate that EQ for yourself then your points need to be in the same spot. So instead of placing your point at 20hz it needs to be at 60hz with a -11dB gain and looks like a low shelving EQ

yes but you need to get rid of all folders in program files ... progam files x86 .... programdata then under your name in user in appdata any folder in the 3 directories in there

@soft palmuninstall gg yes uninstall to do this goto search type control panel enter control panel top right if it says catagory drop it down and select large icons this will show the proper control panel apps then scroll to find and click "programs and features" then in the window scroll until you find steelseries and highlight and click uninstall then click back until your in control panel again and click "explorer file and folder options" then select "show hidden files, folders and drives" click apply and ok close goto c drive and delete steelseries from "programfiles" and " programfiles (x86) " and "programdat" unplug your device reboot and before you plug back into a different port install gg login to your account plug your device back in and activate sonar ....... it should then work properly
