hey, just wanted to drop some honest feedback. I like the Steelseries moments feature alot, it records smoother clips than other third party programs whilst not being harsh on performance. it automatically redorded every sound that i wanted it to and didnt give me any problems while using it, however. one thing i personally would add to it is the possibility to change the aspect ratio, i play stretched but the clips are still being recorded as a 16:9 aspect ratio with black bars, its not a huge deal since other programs give you the possibility to stretch it out, its just kinda unfortunate and i think that it would be a great addition since it (obviously) eliminates the use of another program to stretch them out.

If the video file is gone from your videos folder (or other recording location set in GG) and the file isn't in the trash bin then I'd guess probably not

My auto-clipping doesn't work. I turned it off, and wanted it on again. After that it simply wont work. I tried every setting and tried reinstalling back to default. Cs:go is set to auto-clip, yet it doesn't. Any tips would be helpful.

most video programs like windows media player or VLC will only play one audio stream while watching a video, but Moments records game/chat/mic to separate audio streams... so the video will just play game audio. best option is to watch in the moments viewer, or export the video (the exporting process will merge the audio into one stream)

I have a couple thousand clips, so when I load all of them it takes about a minute to open or close a clip. This is an issue because I'm compiling clips for a montage. Is there a way to make it so it only loads 50 clips at a time or some other optimization setting?

uhm, wierd "bug" that i encountered.. i was testing something ingame(valorant) and forgot to exit the game.. now i then started to watch a video, and in the video, there was a headshot sound from valorant, and moments decided to clip it. but the clip itself is just the audio, as the game is just stationary in the lobby 🤔

hey guys i just installed moments for rocket league from one of the sponsors and the options of auto clipping mention RL, I disabled all triggers except for goals, so it should record those, but then in the top bar it says auto clipping not available for this game and didnt record a thing in 2 matches

some days when I'm using steelseries, the clips are cut short anywhere between 5 and 25 seconds, and the autoclip kills are offset by that same ammount of time as well (meaning often the kills that it meant to clip happen just after the video ends. is there a fix for this? it works fine some days and doesn't other days.
the one minute ones are good, but the 55 second ones don't actually have most of the kills in them

When you bring up the export menu you have to click "export" in the bottom right of the dialouge box after selecting the clip quality

i used sennheiser gsp 370 headphones there was a very handy feature. when the headphones lay down on the table (in the program I chose how long they turn off.) I chose 5 minutes. in idle mode, the nasniks turned off after 5 minutes. put on his head. turned on automatically. without pressing buttons. it is very comfortable

if you have some sort of chatmix setup, then yes, just go into the settings and make sure the various audio capture options are setup correctly
if you don't, then no. moments captures audio from your main device, so if you have both your game audio and discord audio being sent to the same audio device, then moments can't separate them.

Autoclip only works for the specific events that are listed. If you want to capture more than that you'll have to capture clips manually or record the whole match with OBS or your GPU's capture software

hey guys, new here, i just have a issue im trying to sort out and ive been trying to sort it for the past few hours,
i have the steelseries arc 9's and they keep disconnecting and re connecting and some times just completly cut out to which i have to turn them off and on again, i only use them on my xbox nothing else.

-rename the folder on your PC so moments stops seeing them, maybe even categorize them by month so you can just move files around into the real moments folder when you want to view them

I once had issues getting clips because I changed the position of where the HUD in COD was. I turned it back to normal it was able to record again. so if it helps try changing whatever you did before it stopped working, then it should most likely work again.

How do I remove a detected game because it is detecting the wrong .exe? I'm trying to capture RedM for Rdr2 and it requires a subproccess .exe and I accidently captured the main launcher .exe.

Go to GG > Settings > Moments > Capture and Sound. Find the Audio > Chat Device drop down. Make sure that the device selected here is the same used in Discord Output device. It may help also if you use GG's Sonar feature.

Hi guys! I've a problem with moments. I play on my Odyssey G9 (5120x1440) & the clips are perfectly captured but only in 720p. I've set the software like this : 01:00 - Ultra - 1440 - 60 but it doesn't work :/ Still records it in 720p 60 FPS. Someone know if I can capture my games in full quality with moments ?
