i have no idea what those are
what's a gpu 😩
its a thing for gaming
interesting lol
well whats your budget
I don't really have a budget lol I'm kinda just planning
hmm
this looks like a good pc but youll need to add a graphics card (gpu) and probably a cheaper case
and an ssd
graphics card you should tell him that
case recommendation?
overall looks good except corsair PSUs and razer .. everything is kinda not worth the price. Logitech is also not the best peripherals brand in price/quality category but not the worst (like razer and kingston hyperx). But if you don't care about the spent money the rig looks ok and will ... run.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/D9LrCz
I lowkey just used the filter and picked the top 5 star rated item
lmfao
doesnt seem bad ngl
why two 1tb hard drives
idk lol
way more expensive than a 2tb barracuda
oh, ok
also the h510 has almost no airflow
recommendation?
p400a, nr600
you could also try the Corsair 5000D airflow ones.. i think they come with some of the icue fans too
i'm trying to not get it too expensive, this is kinda my first PC lol
I'm changing a couple things up
I sort of want it to be Entry Level so I changed the CPU
Here's it now: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gDmGMv
I shaved off like $200 lol
you're building this yourself correct?
explain
you are going to build it yourself? i've seen people buy the parts and hire someone else to build it
and what types of games are you going to play?
I have no idea how to put together a PC but my uncle might be able to help
ngl, mostly casual games like minecraft but shooter games too
you might be happier with a i5 then
ig
also, i have the camera you are looking at buying, and its not great.
rip
also, for gaming i would suggest a m.2 instead of a hard drive because it'll have faster speeds, and that means your games will open up faster, etc
and the cooler master case you are looking at, only comes with 2 fans, which isn't a huge deal, but that will not be enough airflow to cool your components, and you are also still missing a graphics card
let me know if you need more help, i'm more knowledgeable about AMD, but i can help some with intel
not much of a difference between sata and nvme for games but yeah, get an ssd
So this is my score with a modified 3090 bios
https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/59433271?
This is with the original bios

I don't think I'm missing anything
Yeah don't buy graphics cards on Amazon
I recommend you getting an SSD
only on amazon
how do I change it so SSD?
Not really, but dont spend $316 on a 1050ti
filter it in pc part picker
samsung 970 evo
alr ty
what gpu should I get
for like a budget build
Budget varies
970 Evo for a budget build? Eh
You could save 100 dollars buy using unactivated windows
or get it from another source ;)
Yeah
no
every gpu is like scalped as hell
i never want to see a 1050 for THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS
for $300 for me was a rtx 2060
If I'm doing an entry level budget build is an Asus GeForce GT 1030 good?
And for $103
Btw the build is Micro ATX
No. A GT 1030 is only good for giving a display output, not for gaming, and especially not for over $100. The GPU market is horrible right now so that's why the prices are sky high on every single card out there. Unless you want to overpay for lackluster performance, it's best just to wait awhile until the market stabilizes again
i know, I'm not buying anything right now. But do you have a recommendation for an entry-level GFX card?
GTX 1660, RTX 2060, or RX 5600XT would be my recommendations. If things were normal an RTX 3060 would be great for your build if you're interested in the latest hardware
'budget build'
Max would probably be $500, sorry dude
Like I said, under normal circumstances the cards I recommended would be well under that budget
is that good or bad?
that's not good
Especially not for the prices you would have to pay for it currently lol
wdym 'normal circumstances' like the pandemic and stuff?
That, and the most recent crypto currency mining craze, plus worldwide chip shortages, plus scalpers buying up any and all available stock of new cards and reselling them at double or triple their actual value
any idea when it'll be, say, 'over'? and prices will change?
That's also why I said don't bother buying a GPU right now or trying to base a decision off of current pricing because all the prices are so heavily inflated you'd be spending way more money compared to the level of performance you would be getting
Next year at the earliest honestly
ok well that should be good
honestly, I don't want to do too much. I really just want to be entry level. I don't need the best graphics or the best looks. As long as it doesn't look pixelated or run slow really, I'll be fine
So I think a gt1030 wouldn't be bad for casual games like minecraft
it's just not a good price for the performance you get
unless you need a pc right now i'd hold off
yeah, I'm not getting anything soon. these are just plans.
Well prices change a lot so a build now probably won't be relevant then
so, if I want to get a PC, I should wait to build the setup when I can actually get it? Instead of setting it up at a certain point then buying it in the future
Yes
ok
i got my 5600XT for 300 in january, you may try checking around
Gigabyte B550M AORUS ELITE, mATX-motherboard + Ryzen 5 3600 + 16GB(2x8GB) AORUS RGB, DDR4 3200MHz + Gigabyte Radeon RX 5500 XT GAMING OC 8GB GDDR6
are these compatible
should be, don't see any problems in that list
maybe try and throw your list into PC Part Picker and it should tell you if anything doesn't work together but I think it shoulf
should*
ok thanks
dm if you want to learn how to get free nvidia gpus and get refund from them
Your name is pretty apt with that kinda message tbh
None of that means anything.
Anyone can grab empty boxes, write notes and stuff like that.
lmao
Free shit doesn't exist in this world
^
if you're smart it does
If you're illegal it does
^ was about to say the same thing.
if you're smart you dont get caught
What? That's a reason to commit a crime then?

i didnt?
So you advertise in servers to give away money
"if you're smart you don't get caught"
@raw marsh you gotta be 12, im not giving away money that would just be stupid.
You're trolling now
Or we don't trust something that's too good to be real
then don't waste your time here and go find a way to make your own money. Have fun
I actually have a job that is how I make money
Doesn't make you a better person 🤷♂️
We all have the same graves when we die.
So why bother trying to one up another person?
at least i have fun when i live, i haven't done anything bad to a person only big companies that it doesn't matter for
i'm not

I havent done anything bad to a person but I'm going to screw companies over.
That again implies fraud
lmao? if you think that will screw them over then you're funny
Oh trust me I'm a comedian. But not when it comes to morally dubious and potential criminal activity. 🤷♂️
Of course you won't singlehandedly take down Nvidia, but it can still be fraud...
I don't target a company i do what my customers want.
Nvidia is shit anyways lmao they dont have anything in stock
Nobody has anything in stock. We're in a bit of a situation right now.
I thought shit was only supposed to come out of your ass, not your mouth as well?
If you keep talking shit, people will think you're full of shit..
@tepid frigate please leave the discussion you haven't achieved shit in your life
There's no need to get personal
What I'm saying is; I wouldn't trust you as it seems shady.
lol
That's a bold statement considering you have no idea who they are
well everyone that is in this conversation haven't achieved shit in life since we are talking in this chat lol.
I dont think i'd be alive if I hadnt been able to achieve a shit in my life? that would build up wouldn't it??
And you
indeed
"fam"
What’s wrong with fam
List: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/wcfdW3
good or nah?
dang
gpu still really overpriced
I had an 8100 before
only 8gb of memory for $50
but then again, I'm not buying anytime soon
yeah then..like i said before, just wait until then
alr
should i get a 1660 super for 200 pounds just for minecraft raytracing?
A 1660 Super won't do raytracing. You need an RTX card for that
Unless you're just talking about a shader mod and not the actual RTX Minecraft
y?
Because it's not a ray tracing capable card, your performance will be abysmal
It's not, it's a GTX 1660 super, not an RTX card
2060 or above I suppose
Not that it's a good time to buy graphics cards
There isnt really any good place to buy them right now, unless you can wait for the market to recover, the best you can do is search for third part sellers
does anyone play csgo i need one player for my team EU
this look like recruiting chat to you?
i'm not mad, just pointing out you shouldn't do that here
and english only
you really don't like following rules, huh
Lol
I have a gtx 1660 super
you could install some good shaders to make the game look better
@noble oak ok but shades and my pc hate eachother
What are your specs
Well what’s your processor
So guys i'm debating, should I get water cooling for my new 2080ti coming in or just stick with my fan system, I have a pretty good airflow and it keeps my pc pretty cool
Unless you just really want to go through the hassle or want a certain aesthetic I'd stick with air. Is it a Founder 2080 Ti or an AIB card?
Well it depends if youre willing to put in a custom loop
I have no problems putting one in, I just want a easy upgrade for this new project
If you want easy then a custom loop is the exact opposite of that lmao
Oh yeah thats why I want to keep the fan system
If the card isn't already pre-water cooled with a block on it then I really don't think it's worth it unless you just want to do it just because or like I said earlier, want to have a certain aesthetic in your build
Advice on a single solid monitor?
Budget? Resolution? Size? Feature set?
i want to build a pc and i don’t know where to start can someone teach me what to get and stuff
start with your budget and what you want to do with the pc
yes, we can help with that
but it's on you to determine your budget
i don't know how much money you have
160 if that’s possible 😂
you can get a used optiplex for that much, but the gpu will suck
what is that
i already got a montier
and keyboard and mouse and headphones
what do i need
?
like the thing that starts things up ?
😐
you dont know what a pc is...
an optiplex is a line of pcs by dell
you can frequently get them used for pretty cheap, throw in a 1050ti and call it a day
at $160 you're not getting much though
especially now with the gpu prices
You'll need more than $160 if you want at least a semi-modern PC that can game, which is what I'm assuming you would mainly use the PC for
depends on your age
it should be what you can afford...
Like Saucy said, we don't know how much money you have
don't buy things to satisfy a certain spec sheet unless it's on the company dime
buy things you can afford
if your older and mkae your own money you can have a higher budget
my general rule of thumb is don't buy it unless you can pay for it 10 times over
500?
if you can get 500
damn
At 100 a month you could save for a year and have over a 1000 lol
yeah
Which is more than enough for a good gaming PC
i'm not a financial advisor but you sound young
and it's good to start saving money young
at any age really but you want to build the habit
and pc parts fluctuate a lot in price
come back when you're ready to build
ok
RK ROYAL KLUDGE RK61 Wireless 60% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, Ultra-Compact Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard with 10 Hours Battery Life and Blue Switches, Compatible for Multi-Device Connection, White
should i get that keyboard
your choice
not that expensive and it looks like a solid keyboard
$500 for budget everything else not sure...
How’s this Monitor?
Aye can I get the link to that?
I’d look for something with a higher refresh rate as 100 is quite low
But obviously depends what fps you usually get
And something with a faster response time especially if you play competitively/fps games you ideally want it no more than 3
Not for a 34 inch ultrawide
Didn’t realise it was an ultra wide
34" Ultra WQHD resolution monitor with 1000R curvature, USB type-C, LAN port, HDR support, 1 billion colors, intelligent eye care, FreeSync, 100hz refresh rate, 3-sided border-less design, HAS, tilt, swivel, and energy saving technology with eco-friendly package
Thank ya thank ya
👍
100 refresh rate isn't horrible for a large monitor :) i have a 43" one, and the refresh rate is 60hz
Yeah I know I didn’t realise it was an ultrawide LOL
How good of a mouse is the Aerox 3?
And wha the best/newest/most advanced keyboard by SS
Custom Gaming PC - 10 years of award-winning Custom Gaming Computers & gaming laptops custom-built for PC gamers. Build the best Gaming PC at iBUYPOWER
Really bad for the price
3700x and 6800. That's definitely not worth $3400
Still terrible for that price
You don't need a $3K PC for video editing lmao
Why not?
For videography also
So hours and hours and hours of videos
Need to be able to fluidly work
As well as run complex plugins
I do it professionally. The PC I built late last year is more than enough to handle it and at the time I bought the parts it cost less than $2K (Going to be slightly over $2K once I finally get my hands on a 6800XT but still nowhere near $3000.) That's just throwing money away. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PZChF8
The markup on that system is just silly
Will yours also run games?
5700xt as you can see, it will run games fine
It’s just money that instead of money on the new Apple Notebook I am spending on a desktop
So my budget is 3.7K
How about you don't waste your money on that system, why would you throw it away on a prebuilt money grab
The spec itself is pretty good tho
I know literally NOTHING about computers and am terrible at learning
I play at 1440p and about 120FPS on high settings in FPS games, usually 70-90 FPS with the settings cranked in site seeing games, but that's with an older card also. The performance will go up considerably once I get a new GPU
That’s why
Well, for that system you should look for closer to 2-2.5k depending on availability
So ignoring the price, the parts I picked out work and are good?
The total for my system if I didn't buy the parts on sale in November would probably be around $2.5K
For your uses you might want a better CPU
Okay and would those parts also run games decently?
Honestly as clique as it sounds if you can do custom built do it you not only get a much better pc you save so much money too
I mean that or just another system integrator with better prices
Poor availability makes custom builds more difficult
Would that one tech store build it for me and sell at a decent price?
Yeah it does I’ve been waiting for a gpu for ages
Forget what it’s called
3000 and it's only got a 3700x?
@stiff river If you really want pre built and don't want to spend the time learning about all this stuff yourself, check out Redux or PowerGPU. They both have excellent pre builts that don't completely shaft you with markups on the prices
yeah that prebuilt has hella markup
Yeah I opened that page and felt physically ill seeing that price lol
Micro center?
microcenter's decent
If I go there would they walk me through everything and help?
Not only that but the pictures were completely inaccurate and looked pretty bad
powerspec is an okay prebuilt
and yes they can walk you through
but like...they still might upsell you
Will MicroCenter also build for me?
yes
they sell a building service
it's really like adult legos though
you can do it yourself
Except I suck at legos
And at instructions
I’m more of an physical I do it with someone holding my hand
trust me, you can do it
Yeah
But they wouldn’t listen to what I want and try to take it all over
Maybe I just go to Apple and save up $50k for a Mac tower 😂
i mean, if you want, then go for it, buy a prebuilt
it'll just not be as rewarding imo
in my opinion
I know Nothing about PCS what I need whats compatible with what what does what, what I need to do what I want
I literally have 0 knowledge
and you won't unless you put effort into learning
Then you can buy a redux prebuilt with minimal markup
if you keep just saying you don't know anything, yeah, you'll keep not knowing anything
I literally have read a bunch of different stuff and they all contradict eachother
Or just do it yourself as we've recommend, but it's up to you
what sources did you read
That doesn't usually happen unless it's opinionated?
Pc part picker is a great website for finding parts that are comparable
depends, if the monitor and the pc both have displayport then use that
if not HDMI probably
do that
what bout the thing to start it up with
ah yeah you'll need a power cable too, I assumed you already had that
nothing else except vga and the power cable, let me see the back of your pc/(laptop ports) too though just to make sure everythings good
that's not what I'm asking, let me see your pc ports to make sure it also has vga
i don’t have the cables ima buy it online..
that's also not what I'm asking... I just need to see if your pc can use a vga cable... Show me the back of your pc so I can see the ports
kids these days and boomers think the monitor is the pc
ikr smh, I'm gonna be 40 by the time I see this pc
we spoke in dms, we got it figured out now
nice

In today’s video I’m showing you how to build a $200 gaming PC that's super easy to replicate. This is an extremel...
should i get that
super budget
fr that is hella budget
good luck getting the 560
honestly i’m tryna get a pc
lol
i’m really desperate to find a 200 dollar pc that is pre built
ive got spare parts that ill sell for cheap
theyre budget parts tho so dont get too crazy lol
ive got a GTX 285
bad card, no DX11 support
gets the job done for older games like mc
an i5-2400 and MB
and 12gb of ddr3 ram
idk the speed tho
2 4gb sticks and 2 2gb sticks
and a 250W psu
my brother built a pc him self when he was 12 i think he 20 now
i don’t know how to build a pc that’s the thing
oh that’s nice
i guess my budget is 500 since his was 500
i need 300 more dollars and i can build it
i build for people but my build fee is 50-100 bucks unless you live really close lol
500 is good for a budget build
like if you live nearish to marietta GA id build it for free lol
i live in maryland lmao
oof lmao
i could whip up a parts list if you give me like 2 hours
multiple depending on if you want ryzen or intel
but get multiple opinions
ok
right now is just a bad time to build
My friend wants get a new setup, he's asking for opinions: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jXWMgt
don't get the 1050 ti
my friend has the same cpu and a 1050 ti and it's a bad gpu
I would say go for a 1060 or 1650 or a 1660
they would be infinitely better
1050 TI is not bad it's just bottleneck from the CPU
yea
because these days most people use 1080 and above
so because people have a 1080 and above
ok well u didn't start with saying that
u said the 2600x was causing a bottleneck on the 1050
I said it wrongly
lmao
.
just don't but the 1050 ti it's bad
yeah
Alright I'll let him know, thanks
Is a 1060 ti good?
umm yeah with that cpu is good
but although u can get more performance with 1080 and above
I think he's looking for budget and performance, I think he's also changed it to an i5-10400F
it also really matter what game his friend wanna play
If I have 200 for a used midrange gpu, it's for my 2nd gen 2310, has p8h61-m with mixed ram. Currently run with hd4350. 25fps avg on zombie survival on Garry's mod and world of tank online. Has 1x 2gb and 1x 4gb. Don't know why but it came in all without gpu for $50.
Using 250gb 850 evo ssd and regular 500gb sata3 hdd.
I may have up to 400 canadians, so I wanted to get 8gb or 16gb along with used gpu.
Friend recommends me to buy used rig instead.
What is it going to be?
I really don't understand what you mean ngl...
siktir git
Mainly FiveM which runs off GTA, he also wants to stream
Yup i would recommend your friend to use 1080 or 1070 and above
I have 200 to 4o0 bucks in canadians. My grammar sucked. Could you please reread?
I'm trying to get close to 60fps so I needed a good used mid range video card
^ Thats the one I am getting
lots of prices not showing so i can't judge if that 1070ti is priced fairly
the rest of it seems fine though
maybe get a better airflow case
or more modern at least
that's not a thing but there is a 1660 ti which is rlly good
tell that to Irishman up there, it's his build I was asking about
Yes but I have all prices on Amazon
the 1070 is 595
terrible price
would you recommend a different one then?
it's so annoying
i don't really recommend any gpus right now
my recommendation is don't buy unless you absolutely need to, or you have lots of money to burn
I mean I will be rolling in a decent bit of cash its almost my Bday so and I think I am getting an amazon gift card
soooo
600 for a 1070ti is overpaying by 350
daylight robbery haha
even if you take into account new prices due to shortages and miners, it's still overpaying by 150
Do you think in a months time it will be cheaper lol
no
2021 before it gets better imo
as far as i know there's no best buy in ireland
nope
otherwise they drop gpus for msrp
msrp?
manufacturer suggested retail price
thats not a thing
Don't buy graphics cards off amazon if you can avoid it, prices tend to be ridiculous
they're saying to buy it from another site...
I don't know any Irish ones
currys pc world haha
could have a look there
grand
looks like some professional dbrand type work
i mean
he's the guy who has collaborated with steelseries on the dune haggar mousepads...
maybe more of a #archive-battlestations post but looks good
Great job!
Don't think I've seen that but not surprised he's collabed
does anyone know why i cant get my i5 9600k to 5mhz
the most it goes at is 4.9
wont go any higher
could it be a voltage issue?
this is my first pc i dont really know
What’s this?
He's customized his headset
WOAH
hello, are 10400f and gtx 1060 6gb good pair?
5mhz or GhZ
LOL
That 1950-1980ish cpu
somewhere around there ahah
yeah lol
i bet that windows will take decade to only boot
just to start the PSU
lol
Sorry it was late at night for me when I wrote that I did mean GhZ
we realised ahah
maybe you just didnt get a good build on your cpu
not all CPUs can work at the same speed
yea
im building a pc 🤠
ww
what cpu should i get with a rtx 3070?
Probably the 5600x
Damn that’s gonna be a beast
Thats a pretty good equivalent, I'm running a 3070 and 5600x which works great, but really its up to you
ok
Depends on the mobo you have
im getting an intel mobo
i already picked out all the parts i just gotta buy them now
rtx 3060, intel i5 10600KF motherboard is msi mpg z490 gaming, 16gb ddr4 ram
5600x is better than a 10700k I’m pretty sure
But whatever you can buy for the cheapest
If you find a good deal on a 10700K from MicroCenter or whatever then go for it, otherwise the 5600X is pretty easy to find in stock now
for my new build should i go all amd, intel + nvidia or amd + nvidia
Whatever GPU you can get your hands on
Whatever you can find right now
that is going to be tough. thank you
i build pc
amd + nvidia
thanks
@lilac dew actually it depends on ur budget
i have a 1,500$
this helps a lot. thank you very much
yw
Cheers! Been too busy or can't show what I am working on - so I thought while I was on here I would dump some potato shots of some work
just scribbling on a headset with acrylic markers 😉 its actually silver but potato WIP shots
Looks cool though!
He guys would it make a difference if i would upgrade from a ryzen 3 1200 to a 5 3600?
I'm sure you would have a better gaming experience if thats what you're asking
Ye
Can someone make me a good build with a Lian Li and needs to be around 2.8k
For... What use case
Wdym
what lian li case they're asking I'm pretty sure
O11
He's wondering if you want it for heavy gaming, light gaming, productivity etc
Well lian li makes other products too
But yes I was asking what you're using the computer for
i have the lian li lancool 205m
This place doesn’t include software help right?
Ok since I’m back from school I tell you my problem so suddenly my headphone mic stopped working and it seems like it’s not picking up any sound
On PCpartpicker is intel gone for everyone?
no i think u have to remove all parts before viewing a specific part or else compatability filter will kick in
Dam
ok thanks
I was changing the CPU for i5 10400f - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GtqFht
what
excuse me what
@merry rampart why
why would you ever
god
there are things u can chhane
ur getting a 1650 ffs u dont need 1tb
500 gb is a lot more than enough
if u get a 10400f then u need a cooler
which costs more
3600
get a 3600
?
so many of your comments are wrong
the 3600 is around 200 right now and doesn't necessarily offer better gaming performance
just because you're getting a 1650 doesn't mean you don't need a terabyte of storage
please don't spread misinformation
how does a gpu link with storage
what
lmao this doesn't even make sense. My laptop with a 1650 has 2 SSDs and 1.5 TBs of total storage with over a terabyte filled up 😂 . The kind of GPU you get (or can find or that you can afford right now) in no way has anything to do with the amount of storage you need in your system.
What’s better amd or intel?
Usually AMD, but intel also has good lower to midrange offerings
@stray cove tbh I am just gonna stick with what I have, the ryzen the i5 isnt compatible anyway
1650 ur not gonna be able to play demanding games, which are the ones that require like 100000 gb of storage
???
it's not like you can only store games on your pc...
i have probably a terabyte and a half of just movies, pictures, other programs
What a weird argument
i have a $1300 gaming laptop with 2 tbs of ssd
idk tbh
if u want 1 tb
then get it
but if ur on a budget i dont think you should put a lot of money on to storage
i play many games and i hate reistalling them
i some play games that need tons of space
like shadow of war and mastercheif collection
lmao
Why are you salty over someone's choices my guy?
idk
Not you my dude.
he wasn't talking about you
oh okay i wasn't introuble
lmao
wayfinder look at #archive-user-support
my computer is on fire what can could cause this?
minecraft ultra realistic texture pack
yes i turned on an rtx texture pack and the best shaders i could find but my 3090 should be able to handle it
ok
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 Super - Gaming OC 6GB GDDR6
EVGA GeForce GTX 1660 Super - SC ULTRA GAMING 6GB GDDR6
Are these any different
Should have got a 3080 if all you’re gonna do is play games
cool but sad that minecraft java doesn't actually have rtx
continuum rt says hi
I have doubts that kid actually has a 3090
could’ve used mods he said he got a texture pack you can find any of those online that look really good. I saw this pack online somebody revealed that looked really good but 3090 ran at like 10 fps
But this guy asked why his pc is on fire which he should know lol
but you need a 3090 for among us
Aye but resource packs aren't actual rtx
I'm pretty sure the only minecraft that actually had rtx is bedrock on win 10
Well when I say actual rtx I mean full rtx
he probably misworded his writing or said it like that. idk
you need 2 3090s for chrome 60 fps ultra 144p
you do? 😧
Different cooler designs and possibly slightly different clock speeds but overall no they'll perform about the same
look at GTA 5, not demanding but very, very big
NZXT old H1 Riser cable
Gta is cpu intensive not gpu intensive
I used to play gta on integrated graphics and i ran fine
i ran 20 fps with the game modified to look worse than minecraft
i do have an I3-7130U tho
with hd 620 gpu
What’s better the 6800 or 3070?
They're similar but I'd definitely say the 3070, a bit more horsepower plus RTX which I take advantage of
There's also things like shadowplay and nvenc encoders on the 3070
It’s also a little cheaper too right?
If I was to pair it with the Ryzen 9 3900 would you still go with the 3070?
Not exactly, prices are all over the place. Right now it seems to be more expensive.
Yeah, but I'd choose a 5800x instead
If that's the price/performance you want to go for
You would go with the Ryzen 7 5800x to pair with the 3070 instead of the Ryzen 9 3900x? I’m mainly going to be using this to stream and game at the same time so trying to find what’s good to keep the quality and frames high
For that a 5600x will be enough along with the Nvidia encoder
Considering its what I'm using now and it works great
Hi
Is it a bottlenicking if i put a ryzen 5 5600x with a rtx 3070
depends on which r5
What r5
k
650 watt is probably a bit overkill
whats a good case?
Anything with airflow
i'm kidding a bit
but the h510 doesn't have good airflow
nr600, lian li lancool 2 mesh or 205, td500 mesh, p400a, etc
Or anything from fractal
Corsair Carbide 275R?
eh
k
Not much better
Unless it's the airflow version which is a bit better
it is like in a bugdet of 100 euros because im greek
i mean, they're all fine, they're just not good for performance
if you want aesthetics your parts aren't that hot anyways
that one's pretty good, yes
k
i don't really know what pricing is like in greece though
idk either
cause you have dollars
im with euros
i havent gotten the pc yet btw
can i tell u the specs?
what is pcpp?
pcpartpicker
idk what it is but ok
a website
i will do that later
SPECS: AMD Ryzen 5 3600,NZXT C650 650W Full Modular 80 Plus Gold,Asus GeForce GTX 1660 Super 6GB Rog Strix OC ,NZXT Kraken X53 ,Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD 1.0TB M.2 NVMe ,MSI B450 Tomahawk Max Motherboard ATX ,Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB DDR4
3600 doesn't get that hot
i know
it's only about 125w if you overclock
i could use the cpu cooler from the boc
the stock cooler is fine just a bit loud
correction:box
you can edit discord messages
thats why im taking the x53
ik
any suggestions?
k
Arctic Liquid freezer if you want an AIO
speaking of overkill
Hyper 212 is great value tho
it's not
ventroo v5 is equivalent or slightly better and cheaper
212 is riding on it's name
the 50% that im taking the aio is for the cpu cooler
the real issue is that we have no idea of any of the prices
?
friend request
nope
k
don't really do friend requests sorry
i can help you here
anywhere from 11 to 2 in the US
ur state?
1
the name of ur state pls
why
to have on clock the time
i just gave you the time
1 pm or am?
You don't have to arrange it, just post your question and someone will answer
What newer gpu would be best to use with an i7 8700k? I use a 1070ti but would love to upgrade.
Probably around a 2080?
But im not completely sure where it will bottleneck
I was thinking maybe a 80super? But idk
But its still a great GPU considering the situation we're in
Oh without a doubt!, I'm holding on until this all blows over, I just wanna play CP2077 in 3440 with ray tracing
Actually I think 2080 super/ti will be fine
It says end of life on scan so I assume they're discontinued? 🤔
Yeah, you'll probably have to scour the aftermarket for a good price
Bruh
I don't want to browse after market as I don't trust scalpers
Ig I'll keep my eyes on overclockers and box for stock
Feels like the 20 cards had a very short run compared to the 10
That definitely will not work with a 2080 in any way
Except you wanna play with 10fps
Or lowest settings
U sure about that
Not really, with DLSS and under psycho RT it will be alright
He doesn't have to crank everything up
Nah tbh I'm not even that fussed with the Resolution or tracing.
looks like rocket lake is skippable for gamers again....doesn't beat the 5600x in most titles
and much higher power consumption
ok
Uhh, not to be rude. But just wanted to ask, how does this contribute to the topic?
He regularly says 'rockseries' in random channels so i don't that's his main concern
Is this a good build: https://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/YwZwJf
I dind't include an gpu because of the prices.
are you aiming to replace the fans on your aio with rgb fans? if so, the $30 fan is only for one of them
and the fans on the aio are 120mm as well
the aio comes with rgb fans
wait actually I might be wrong
Yeah I think I'm getting confused because the z73 has 3 rgb fan headers on it and that confused me, sorry
looks good to me
Lmao
@zealous terrace this is the list
No I am not i wanna use it for a exhaust fan at the back
not gonna happen tbh
@cloud sand the prices on gpu are insane right now so currently getting an pc with rtx would be impossible without overpaying way to much
are you sure MSI GeForce RTX 2060 is $349 at Newegg
I mean the rtx 3000 series
I don't know how you get one rtx 2060 for $350 cause all shops in my country sell it for around $600
and you live in what country
oh i live in the usa
.
Yeah in Belgium are the graphics card really expensive
I am also from belgium lol
the 2060 is a pretty great card but how did you find one for $349 you're super lucky
can someone just get grapics cards back in stock pls
sure let me get right on that
I've actually had all the graphics card in my garage the entire time. Here, I'll give them all back now since you asked nicely
Ay bro if you've got a spare 2080ti or 3070. Send plz 👉👈
Literally, I'll even throw in a tenner?
Why would GPUs suddenly be back June 1st?
yes but 3060--2060 is still good tho
is it posible to mke a pc under 100 dollars for my friend because he has unreal exspectations
What would they even use it for?
No chance
what about just a cheap one would that work
Really depends what you can find stuff for
he want a core i5 and 8 gigabytes of ram but he dose not care about the rest
idk
Yeah definitely not for $100
how to find a 3090?
but waht about just a cheap one tho
Depends what you mean by cheap
this is not cheap one but it is good can you make this any cheaper https://pcbuilder.net/rigs/GwPKo3/
This PC Builder rig is created using Intel Core i5-9400 Processor, ASUS PRIME B365M-A Motherboard, Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB CPU Cooler, AeroCool Cylon RGB Case, ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Graphics Card, Patriot Memory Viper Elite RAM, Samsung 970 EVO Storage, along with NZXT AER RGB Case Cooler, and IN-WIN Development Inc IP-P300BN7-2...
That psu looks dodgy
shold i get one tath costs more

looks like a pcpp knockoff
Probably is
i did not realise this was a knock off but i will use pcpp thx
pp
thanks for your contribution
thanks for your contribution
hey guys! i wanted to build a pc a long ago but i couldn´t because of the prices of gpus and cpus, so i bought an asus tuf gaming laptop that has a Ryzen 7 and an RTX 2060, 16 gigs of ram, 512 gigs ssd and a 120hz ips display for 1000 bucks, what do you think about it?
Que ryzen 7?
3750H
maybe check places like craiglist or ebay.. i've seen people selling pcs for like $150. granted, they're not meant for gaming
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/V8QLLP here's something similar to what you had
That's the newer version of the laptop I have. Only differences are mine has a GTX1650 and a 60hz screen 🤮 but overall it's a pretty solid laptop especially with the upgraded specs you have
ey dont diss 60hz
that was the only thing u had before
I have a 6 year old laptop that can't even run most games at 1080p 60 fps 👀
Was planning to build a pc this year 😩 But prices are ridiculous
My desktop has a 1440p 144hz monitor connected to it so everything else looks gross now lol especially the panel on my laptop
the most exsesive pc ever https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4WtpLP
bet it cant run crysis
What rgb light strips do you guys recommend I use for my PC?
Not enough RAM i think
But... Why intel Xeon and not AMD Threadripper or Epych
i9 10900k and rtx 3080 tuf gaming
is it a good combination i9 10900k and rtx 3080 tuf gaming
Of course it is
thanks
