Honestly the sound wasn’t that bad for wireless. I even have a pair of HD650. Only thing bothering me is that it pressed against my ear. Used them for an hour or so then switched back to my old pair.

Was never able to test the microphone though. Though it felt like the sidetone was bad (compared to my old pair) (which is not steelseries)

yep its not good...

the only way to live with it is to push the headset into a forward position, so that the backsides of your ears touch the cup (placing the bumps over more free space)

if my ears were even a little bit larger, it would have been an instant return

theres honestly so many issues with this headset in relation to what is marketed, but hard to find anything better (that does everything reasonably to... some extent) aswell in this category really

Hello everyone, sorry if this is the wrong channel for this... I have an original Nimbus Wireless controller, not the newer Nimbus+. I have been trying to update it, but the old iOS companion app is no longer available. I have also been trying the GG desktop app but it is not recognizing the controller. I have done all the support steps like restart the Mac, give permissions, etc. Support tells me this device is compatible, but I cannot get this to connect for the life of me... Does anyone here know for sure that it is or is not compatible with GG Engine?

Also, the Mac is an older Intel Mac, not an M1 so that shouldn't be the issue.

Yeah Sonar can be fixed. As for the hardware of the Nova...not really feeling it with the cups and the overall audio. Firmware update could maybe help but these don't feel ready.

Hey friends. I just picked up an Arctis 7X+ for use with PC. Absolutely couldn't find the standard 7+'s. My understanding is with Sonar I'll still get surround sound (I play Valorant). What I find weird is in the device manager it says "Xbox Headset". Do I need to find some PC drivers?

You can use spatial audio or windows' built in windows sonic to simplify it. or you could connect your headphones through usb if they aren't recognized by engine already, and see if you have an extra 7.1 DTS option you can enable in the engine itself, but other than that spatial audio in sonar is your best bet

hey guys, I am having problems with my Arctis 9. yesterday night I went for a walk with it, it was connected to my PC I think but then I just got out of the home, and to connect it to my phone I restarted it. When I got back home, I couldn't pair it to my pc back again no matter what I do.
I get one red blink when I press the power button, and then nothing. But if connect it to PC via cable, I get green-or yellow, if I hold long enough I get rapid white-blinking. Yet, even that won't help me, as my PCs can't see the headset...
Its bluetooth works fine- connects to my phone no problem, but my pc wont see it. I even tried redownloading the GG app, I tried hard-resetting the headset via its tiny hidden button. No use. When I try to pair via GG app, it shows both transmitter and headset as connected to the PC, but when I proceed, it says "pairing failed". I need help guys.

I was looking into buying these, but I used to have another headset with leather ear cushions and for some reason the leather made me sweat. I looked this up and found this:

I've just bought the wireless, had exactly the same concern. It hasn't arrived yet, although reviews are saying sound and mic quality is a big difference

But that is in comparison to the wired, which have better quality. It doesn't necessarily mean wireless quality is bad though

Well I mean. I love the idea of the wireless. But you can tell in direct 1 to 1 comparisons between wired and wireless, there are some trade offs, at least in the comparison I watched. I mean idk there’s also that bump in the wireless’ earcup meant for noise cancelation. That I knew was gonna be a bother if I got that. I’m kinda interested what my first impressions will be when I get my wired ones. I’ve heard pretty mixed things.
