You go into steelseries engine while it’s preferably plugged in directly through the usb in the earcup but I think you can do it wirelessly too, and it should show firmware update under the headphones in the engine

i just got the nova wireless. from a artics pro wireless, great additions, love anc great for pc fans or a box fan in a room. and the headset is way more comfortable even with the anc nubs in the earcups.

I've never had luck with steelseries. 6s and 7s I had issues. Took a break and went corsair, wanted to give this a try and I really like the nova wireless but with the issues I'm having it's not worth the headache. Believe it or not I’m using the xbox version of the TB Stealth 700 G2. The xbox wireless dongle for PC is really solid. Its also nice have the same dongle for my elite controller and headphones.

Arctis Pro wireless base station is solid too, but in my house it has the same range as the xbox dongle. 🤷‍♂️

You hold the power button for 1 second to turn off. The problem is you also have to hold the bluetooth button for 1 second to turn that off. Bluetooth and base station power are separate.

I could kind of see the appeal, but there needs to be a setting to force the Bluetooth to turn off with the power button on the Arctis Nova Wireless.

Also, the power off/on ANC On and transparency sounds are not distinct enough. That's why it's pretty confusing what is happening when using the power button. You are not alone @serene glacier

Hello, I just noticed something with my Steelseries keyboard. It's color has been the same ever since I got it, and never blinks, goes off, etc... But, today, I enabled Malewarebytes Premium to run along side of windows defender. Now, the lights of the keyboard turn on and off about every minute or so. xbox you can use xbox and everything including playstaion. playstation pc means you can use everything except xbox. with xbox version you can use anything if not owning a xbox. from my understanding

Xbox requires some weird security chip for all the headphones you plug into it (don't ask me why) whereas playstation and pc do not. The xbox version has 1 port that's dedicated to xbox only and cannot be used for other devices while the other version have 2 ports that can be used for everything except xbox

If you only need 1 of the 2 ports then yes the xbox version is "better"

If you're planning on using it on both pc and ps4 however it's easier to get those version so you don't have to swap the cable out

Hi, I just downloaded the steel series GG app and it works great, but it always defaults to the steel series sonar as the playback device. I usually just choose the one I prefer which is my headphones but every time I restart my pc it always go to the steel sonar as the default. Is there a way for this to not happen? I want to keep the mic because it sounds great but I don't really like the headphones cause it sounds weird and I prefer my normal one.

There will probably be Nova ear cushions released at some point, but currently any of the old Arctis ear cushions available on the store will not work with the Nova series. The ear cup on the old Arctis Pro is a different shape than the new Nova Pro
