hi. yesterday i was visiting a good friend that i havent seen for years. and he has a steelseries controller very similar to the Nimbus+ and Stratus Duo, which is use to his LG tv with Google Chrome and iPhone. but on his, the middle button was named as βMENUβ (not having a house as one of them seems to have) and had no small buttons beside the Menu. but still the red LED lights for P1-P4. the buttons on the right side are marked with A, B, Y, X, as on an Xbox controller, with same colors as on the Xbox one. the shoukder buttons are the βsameβ as on an Xbox controller (i think. but not 100% sure)

I have an arctis 7 and had to uninstall the software for steel series when it stopped my audio from coming through.
I'd change my audio in discord and works when your on the app but when you click off it you would either end up losing the ability to hear your friends or your friends hear you lagging to death.
I reinstalled and forgot about sonar until it works better or just works with discord at least made it unusable

However this now wont work, also if Bluetooth to iphone I cant use the mic to dictate/ voice control.
I can get the mic to click it by tapping on the mic loudly or making a scratch/ pinch to the end of mic but it wont pick up voice. I have tried powering all devices off and back on in different orders. Randomly picked it up today and it worked fine as if never had a problem. But gone to use it tonight and its not working again.
I did try to do a firmware update yesterday and it said it needed one. It did say it was complete, but still didnt fix issue. Today I tried to re do firmware and on plugging it in it said. Fatal error with update, ticket sent. But now it wont prompt me or let me try to re install. It kind of shows the headset as up to date.!!!

So as a streamer that has invested in some higher quality gear like the goxlr mini there are very few wireless headphones option that have no delay when listening to yourself. so all those options are over $300 and older then 2-3 years...
I am not against saving and spending money for a true wireless headset that works for listening to your self and very low lag but most of the headsets are older and tech has grown since the steel series $300 plus wireless was released.. Is there a new headset coming soon that can handle this?
I am giving this to whomever wants to invent.. invent a reasonably priced transmitter to a receiver (not Bluetooth) that can make any wired headset wireless like musicians use..

if you don't mind those two differences, you'll enjoy the arctis 9! it's a little bit lighter since it doesnt have the swappable battery, but it does have the dual wireless with bluetooth which is honestly awesome

Alright, I am returning my Arctis Pro. The DAC keeps disconnecting and the software doesn't let me customize RGB.
Gonna buy the Prime instead. The sound quality is good, but the bass is still lacking. For 220 EUR i expected more.
If the Prime sounds the same as the Pro, then for 80 EUR and with no reliance on software it will be a good buy.
Will find out soon enough.
