That's what happens when Sonar is playing a standard stereo (2 channel) audio stream through the virtual 7 channel stream upscaler. If there isn't an option in Warzone's settings to tell the game to output a native 5.1/7.1 surround stream then you're always going to have the echo thing with the Sonar surround enabled

If Warzone doesn't have an option for native surround output and you have a SteelSeries headset with DTS Headphone X V2 I'd try using that surround option when playing Warzone and setting your audio output to the regular headset output instead of the Sonar one and see if surround works any better that way

Alright then I'd recommend going into the normal Engine settings for the headset and toggling the DTS Headphone 7.1 on with the surround profile set to game and the stereo profile set to default and see if that works any better for Warzone if there's no surround toggle in the game itself. Then just use the normal Arctis Pro Game output when you want to play Warzone instead of the Sonar Game

You can still remake that Warzone EQ profile in Engine, but if you want to use the Sonar surround you'll need to make sure the game you're playing has a surround sound option in the audio settings otherwise you'll get that weird echo thing

I honestly love the Aerox 3! I previously had the Rival 650 (and still have it) and its pretty heavy, and worst of all I have to replace the side panels every few months because the rubber-flaps always get loose. Even tho I think the Rival 650 looks great I was pretty annoyed. But both of those problems are solved with the Aerox. And I think it looks even tastier, and the fit is way better for me. Now you only have to support Steelseries GG on Linux then I am blissfully happy👍 🇺🇦 logo

No i never did figure it out, very frustrating, to be honest as for surrounding and footsteps its very very good but considering it makes the game and voice in game sound like im in a church isnt right lol… hope that get addressed if someone sees this and fixes… from the original 7.1 surround that is on the normal engine I cannot find a equalizer at all that works nearly as good as sonar…. Dunno what to do lol ughh

Really wish the arctis 5 had removable ear cups.. as comfortable as the cloth like material is I feel the sound would be a lot more confined and you would have a better seal around the ears if it had been a pleather or vinyl or even rubber... Anyone know if there is way too change them even with a third party ear cup?? Really contemplating getting material myself and just making my own.

you can try these following steps
Settings > About > GG Version > Check Update
if it says version 16.0.0 then your application is up to date
but if it doesn't and the check update button doesn't work then it could be a network problem and the download is being blocked
then i suggest downloading the new installer from the website if possible

As long as you have a moving gif on it it should be fine. I've been using my Apex Pro TKL for almost a year with different gifs for different game profiles and I haven't noticed any burn in yet

The Pro and 7 are identical except for the adjustable actuation switch option on the Pro. If you like linear switches and can spare the extra cash for the feature then go with the Pro, otherwise if you want Blue or Brown switches save some money and go for the 7. I've been using a Pro TKL for nearly a year and I do love the omnipoints, it's especially great having that super fast actuation for FPS or fast paced games and have a bit more key travel for typing and regular desktop use.

one thing that helped when my arctis 5 wasnt being detected, try different usb ports on your pc, like if you have a usb 3.0 and you're using that, try a 2.0, or vise versa

If I remember correctly, SteelSeries Engine does not support Arctis 3 anymore. Alternatively, you can try to use Equalizer APO + Peace software (optional)

As far as SteelSeries headsets go, the Arctis Pro is already the best in the lineup. The only upgrade path there is would be the Pro Wireless, but you'd be sacrificing some audio quality with the wired headset for the convivence of wireless. Plus the APW is out of stock everywhere and probably isn't coming back any time soon because of the chip shortage. If you're really looking to upgrade I would recommend looking into some higher quality audiophile headphones without a mic since that would be the only way to get better sound quality than the Pro

Honestly ive found with high end headphones it can be rather subjective, my best reccomendation would be for you to actually go to a store to test them. People will swear by or against certain headphones potentially due to bias, you'll need to make up your own opinion to be satisified.
