Personally I prefer the Arctis Pro but there is a known durability issue after about a year where one of the earcups tends to break. Mine is fine so far but it's something to keep in mind when buying

arctis pro can only be used on xbox with the 3.5mm, since xbox doesnt allow chat via usb, so youd lose alot of the features the headset is advertised with, so between the two you made a good call

probably the optical filament came out of the clamp inside the LED housing. I opened one up to mod a while back and if you're careful it's not too hard to fix, just gotta be ok with potentially damaging something since there's a bunch of small parts.
