RGB isn't something that helps in anyway in gaming or in some work project and it is for aesthetic reasons so you can buy a mousepad without the RGB
BUT the Logitech G640 can only fit your mouse and might not be the best choice for gaming because you don't have a lot of space to move your mouse

Don't buy AEROX 3. Latest firmware requires PC usb port to charge so its wired mouse. It will partly work as wireless. Steelseries said its "feature" and not a bug but previous firmware did not have this bug. Whatever i do not recommend buying wireless mouse if it only works as wired mouse. Charging from external source will force you to manually turn your mouse off and on again after charging since it goes into SLEEP mode while charging from external source and wont connect to PC afterwards.

honestly I think the main draw of the Arctis line is the comfortable design and the mic, the rest of it you can pretty much find equivalents for elsewhere. They're also easy to use and (mostly) work like they're supposed to

The Arctis 7 wil be the 4th wireless headset I've tried in the past 30 or so days. 1st one was great but with bad mic, 2nd had a good mic, but the ear cups were so small it hurt to wear the headset, 3rd was the Corsair Void.

If you don't like the Arctis 7 I would recommend giving the Creative SXFI Air Gamer a go, I've got the normal ones and they're really good for the price. can't say if the mic on the gamer version is any good but Creative Labs have been in the sound business for a long time and they know what they're up to.

@lunar knoll discord has defaulted the thumb buttons as back and forward just like your browser. When you click away from a DM to go to a discord server, clicking the back thumb button will bring you back to that DM. Do you use mouse4 for push to talk?

Yeah when i used mouse4 as push to talk even with my razer basilisk v2 it wanted to bring me back in another channel when I tried to talk or even while using my browser. It should work like that on all mice i don't really know why it is like that on your specific mouse

So when you press that, it shifts your dpi to a lower level for sniping and when you take your thumb off the button it switches to the default dpi you have set

I have been thinking of purchasing the arctis 5 2019 edition. I'm replacing my nari ultimates since i don't really use the haptic feedback thingy, the wireless style just isn't really worth it anymore since charging is a hassle. Any thoughts on the arctis 5 2019s?

they're good, they work and have a solid build, and RGB if you're into it. If you're looking for the next level tho I'd go for the wired Pros + GameDAC, the quality is pretty epic (and they're on sale right now).
You can also get just the Pros on their own, which have the same ChatMix dial as the 5 but you get the nicer features of the actual Pro headset, ie the metal band, interchangeable sideplates, and High-Res drivers

human hearing is 20 to 20k (in theory goes from 12 to 28k in perfect conditions) so really the added range in the Pros is unnecessary, but will add some realism to the sound, ie explosions and clanging about are a bit more crisp in the highs and the bass seems deeper and fuller because you're getting into infrasound territory. With music it's far more notable than in gaming, but if your motherboard doesn't have good sound drivers you'll need the DAC for the full experience (TBH motherboard sound has become very good in recent years so if your PC is newer or has a sound card it won't matter as much).

yeh, you can use the dial with USB (has a mini DAC in it I think) or you can go straight to 3.5mm with the adapter if you want the analog straight out of your PC

I've lived in Spain, Germany, and the US so I've run into the shipping and customs issues fairly frequently, but as Flare says, if you order off one of the European SteelSeries locales, ie you see a price in EUR, you won't have any problems. If your pads aren’t warped you can use some 3M spray adhesive to reattach them. Haven’t done it in a SS mouse but I’ve done it in the past for mice w/o replacements to order.

Oh my bad I'm dumb I thought you were asking about ImageSync. Prism sync just allows multiple SteelSeries devices to share the same RGB pattern. Inside GG go to Engine, then click on Apps then find PrismSync and choose a pattern

could be any number of things, bad connection, laggy server, the guy mighta been trollin you, who knows. The mics are generally good, you can test yours with a voice record app or something to see if maybe you have an issue on your particular one. compared to a streaming mic obviously there's no contest, but I've heard dollar store mics and honestly it's amazing they do anything, so a comparison to that might be an exaggeration.
