USB is USB, Linux have comparable drivers, the data sent over the bus is platform independent

That entirely depends on the games.

Gamesense would easily work with CSGO on Linux for instance since the way that's set up is, also, platform independent

It's not a rebuild of GG to get it working on Linux, it's adaptation.

The only reason they're not supporting it is because they deem it too expensive to support another platform besides windows and macos

Plus there's some quirks that are distro-dependent
