Omnipoints are a convenience thing. If you have the extra cash to spend they're definitely nice to have, I love using them on my Apex Pro TKL and setting different actuation profiles for different kinds of games, but if you aren't interested in that and just want a keyboard with some regular mechanical switches then the Apex 7 is a better deal

first of all, steelseries is smaller, which is better ofc
apex pro has brighter rgb's
apex pro has a oled screen
you can use all keys as macros and not only dedicated ones
steelseries has omnipoint which means you can change alot of things on the keyboard
roccat has less latency (better than steelseries by 2ms or smtn)

roccat software is shit
Apex pro works fully on macOS and windows.
apex pro is 80% of the times cheaper

SteelSeries has Prismcaps (which I use on my Apex Pro TKL and they're great), HyperX has pudding caps which are pretty much the same thing as the Prisms, any of the Razor keycap sets would work. I'm pretty sure their boards use standard MX mounting and bottom rows

It's not about looks. PBT is a better plastic than ABS. Look is preferential but the overall quality of PBT keycaps is miles ahead of ABS caps

But yeah for miniatous just remove the keycaps, I usually clean mine individually with some anti-bacterial wipes, and blow out the whole board frame with compressed air. If I haven't cleaned my board in awhile I'll sometimes also get q-tips and wet one end and run them in between the switches, then use the dry end to get rid of any leftover moisture
