No. I bought it and regret it. The scroll wheel squeaks and the wireless connection is very poor. Constantly disconnects for no reason in the middle of my CSGO games. I'm going back to Logitech
Also it seems to lag significantly, even with 1000hz polling. And the batteries die rather quickly if you game on it. You'll need rechargable AAA's.

I've had the worst experience with Steel Series products. The head phones quality breaks the sound drivers on Windows and needs to be reinstalled every now again. Their noise suppression is garbage and interferes with other applications and they shut off if no volume comes through the chat output. They need to up their QA. If I'm paying more than 150$ they better just work.

Has to go through the main power source. Think about it, using the TV will work if you’re watching TV, but since you’re on your PC it needs an output to send the audio signal to. If you’re of course using the headset wirelessly. If you’re wanting to use the headset wired then connecting it to any 3.5mm audio out will work fine, but you wont have any mic functionality unfortunately.
Although, I don’t know why you would choose to have a wireless headset and use the wired option.

A question of my own. Anyone had any issues with the Arctis Headsets snapping from the base? Had my Pro Wireless for just over a year, and when I went to turn them to rest around my neck, the left ear cup snapped. Wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I was unlucky and was dealing with faults before this.
Also.. who’s bright idea was it to put the volume wheel at the bottom? I can’t even turn my neck around or relax on my bed without the volume changing xD I know you can set the DAC to auto off so it doesn’t happen, but I hate messing around with it when I do want to just change the volume. Soo in the future, volume buttons would be great

Variable actuation means you can set an individual keypress to be longer or shorter based on what you're using the keyboard for. For example in a fast paced shooter like Splitgate, CSGO, etc, you'd likely want the WASD keys to be as fast as possible for movement, so with the omnipoint switches you could set those keys to have a shorter travel distance meaning you don't have to fully depress the key to get the desired action so you could barley tap the W key and still move forward while having to press a bit deeper for ability keys like grenades if you don't want to accidently use that ability

Start with 100hz at +4, 300hz at +2, 900hz at +2, 2500hz at +0, 8000hz at +0. Make minor adjustments one at a time from there. Also experiment with Volume Limiter in FPS games. It makes the deafening loud sounds no nearly as loud and the really quite sounds get boosted so they are more audible...as displayed when you toggle the volume limiter on and off. I like it a lot, just keep in mind you might want to increase overall system volume just a little because it does seem to make everything 10-15% quiter, nothing that increasing volume can't fix though! 🙂
