Tbh I would much rather have the swappable batteries on the Pro Wireless than regular cable charging on my Arctis 9. I usually get a solid 2 or 2 and a half days of use before needing a charge, but if they start running low and frequently beeping while I'm gaming with friends it's pretty annoying having to plug the cable in and have it dangle from my head so it can charge while I'm still using it

Just being able to pop a plate off and slap a new battery in there when it runs low would be much more convenient

yeah it may be harsh, i had many problems with them, ive had several different products that all had failures, i was on my 3rd naga, double left click and holding left click issues all over the place, then the blackwidow elite wireless that just double pressed random keys. updated firmware and everything on it. if people have that brand and it just works im jealous, i wish mine would have worked but the steelseries products in my opinion blow them completely out of the water

After several hundred thousand times it might start to get a bit loose but it's nothing to worry about. Jacks don't usually get really loose like a USB port will over time, but there's always going to be a bit of degradation, that's unavoidable
