The Pros have a slightly higher sensitivity in the drivers compared to the Prime but you're not likely to notice a difference. Other than that the specs are the same and the mics are exactly the same

The Pros have DTS 2.0 surround sound and full software control through Engine + RGB while the prime is just plug and play via 3.5mm

If you want the features of the SteelSeries Engine and care about RGB the Arctis 5 is a solid option. Same price as the Prime on the website although the 5s are on sale through Amazon in some regions currently

Completely up to you, if you're fine with the GK61 acoustics and are willing to put time and effort into making it sound decent then it's not a bad option. Don't count on factory lubed stabs, they're all terrible, you're much better off tuning them yourself. If building a custom is an option, what's your budget?

Not quite sure I should post it here or go straight to the support channel – I realize the Arctis 1 (wired) is the budget option, but is it normal for the mic to be very, VERY, VERY quiet? With ~60 ish volume and +10 db boost in Windows 10 sound settings. Boosting to 100/+20 makes it better – but then the mic sound is super awful with tons of noise. Yes, it's plugged in all the way, turned the correct way and about an inch away from my mouth.

If your Arctis has one, you can remove the adjustable headband and wash it by hand or throw it in the wash, then let air dry before reattaching to the headset.

So I put my headband on a wash, and now its much longer than before. Im going to have to buy a new one 😦
