Not really. It mostly just depends on the kind of features you're looking for, though between the Rival 3 Wireless, Aerox 3 Wireless, and Rival 650 Wireless, I went with the 650 because it has a better sensor on it than the Rival 3 and doesn't have holes like the Aerox

I personally dont have a raging setup, just the cheapest anything for keyboard and mouse, plus a QCK Large , so i have an Apex 3, and a Rival 3, but my headset is just a Corsair HS35s because it was cheaper than Arctis 1s

I used an Apex M750 TKL and Rival 310 for four years because they were good mid-range products at the time that I bought them and just over the last month I've upgraded to an Apex Pro TKL and Rival 650. I've been rocking an Arctis 5 for about 2 years now but I'm going to snag the Pro Wireless once they're back in stock

Plus I bought a QcK Prism XL awhile back to replace my 3 year old QcK Heavy lol

Maybe there's some third party feature that allows audio duplication for 2 outputs, but that's probably not possible with the headset itself.

You'd probably have to unplug the switch from the TV because when it switches to wireless it's always going to mute the audio output that isn't being used, but that's on the Switch side of things and not with the headset

Depends how the dongle for the headset is plugged in. If the dongle is plugged directly into the Switch then it won't be a problem, but if the dongle is running through the soundbar or some kind of USB hub that's running through the soundbar then yes, unplugging the sound bar would cut off the Switch audio in the headset

Does the switch doc have a USB port on it? If so you should just be able to plug the headset dongle directly into it and then it wouldn't affect the TV sound at all when your son is using the wireless headset

My best keyboard before half the switches decided to kill themselves was a Tesoro Colada

Corsair/Logitech/Razer/HyperX/Steelseries (literally any gamer board) and almost all other gamer boards suffer from poor build quality. Their thin plastic plates make keystrokes feel cheap and sound super pingy. Same goes for the casing. The few plates and cases that are “aluminum” are thin coated airbrushed aluminum over thin plastics that still generally feel god awful and scratch easily.

The stabilizers, the things under your enter/backspace/space/shift keys, are horrendous in an objective manner. They’re built really really poorly and make the keyboard sound rattly and make those specific keys really wobbly. Not even the normal fixes that people do to improve their stabs (lubing, clipping, bandaid mod, padding, etc.) save 99% of gamer keyboards.

The keycaps are almost always in a proprietary layout and made with low quality ABS plastic. The legends are usually laser ablated; which means they get ruined, wear and smudge fast, and are almost impossible to replace due to the fact that their layout (or, in Logitech’s case, their stem) is proprietary.

Overall, keyboards branded and marketed towards gamers are inferior to lesser known products, which have superior build quality and customization overall.

Here's the thing also. If you don't use a num pad on a daily basis: "but it has more keys." ~you're probably saying as an excuse. Don't bother buying. If you need a numpad that badly for your "macros" just buy a numpad they don't cost much, and are more ergonomic (not to mention faster). Just get a 60%; you can access the whole fullsize board in a 60%. Just because it has less keys physically doesn't mean you can't use those keys.

Hey, I've been using the Steelseries Rival 3 and Apex 3 moues and keyboard. Works great for any other gamers on a budget! 100% would recommend if you wanna game well but not hurt the wallet.

Although if you wanna game seriously I recommend probably a Logitech mouse or maybe a Glorious mouse.
